Trade him for Justin Gage or Nate Washington

Remember people...we play the Titans this year!

The only way I trade him,is if I land Vincent Jackson in some weird 3-way trade....

I would not trade him for some measley 5th or 6th rounder or conditional pick...
Then watch Haynesworth explode on mcnabb in our matchup...

We better be getting a good player of a 2nd rounder at worse or I'll be VERY disappointed in this trade...

Did you just not start a thread that talked about how we had no worries about our WR corp? Now you want to trade for VJ.

Dude stop talking out of both sides of your mouth.

LOL good point mredskins.. Like I said, trade him for one of their wr's. Gage would be a nice pickup. Maybe they also throw in a 3rd rounder

You know a lot of folks say get rid of him for whatever. F that, get something for him. The man can play, it's not like we're trading a special teams player. Get the most, the absolute most that you can. If someone says anything lower than a 3rd f them. Keep the dude these are a bunch of grown men, if they can't play with this "distraction" then why are they here ? It's a topic because everyone with a microphone or a pen and a pad makes it one. The players don't bring it up, the reporters do. Get value for him, if we get raped isn't it just like Vinny being here, or does it not matter just because it's not his named signed on the dotted line ?

Get value.

I'm not gonna get all excited and hope for something decent, like what his value is actually worth. Hopefully a deal gets done, if not then f it.

Chris Mortensen just reported on ESPN that Haynesworth went missing at halftime against the Cards, that was the last straw for MS. He also says the Titans will not give 2 draft picks for AH.

Sorry, AH does not get what he wants (outta here) unless and until we get what we want (something of value or 21 million). AH cashed the check. Shanny owns his ass and, if that's a distraction to some, I get the feeling Shanny doesn't care. Better yet, watch what happens to guys who become malcontents or "distracted". You don't play well, you sit and watch your value, UFA contracts, and glory disappear as other hungry to play step up.

If AH can't get with the program, Keyshawn his ass. Not like we're going to get our money's worth outta him.

i would think though, if you were trying to trade his fat ass you wouldn't be talking so bad about him. If I was trying to move a guy i wouldn't be saying he played awful, lacked effort, ect...

Kenny Britt and a 3rd (conditions for it to be a 2nd) for Haynesworth (I'm not reporting anything here, just speculating)

re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth

Can I quote from the article linked.

Quote:
Exhausted by the distraction and lack of effort from Albert Haynesworth, the Washington Redskins have once again gauged trade interest in the defensive tackle from his former team, the Tennessee Titans, according to team sources.

It is at least the second occasion the Redskins have had discussions regarding Haynesworth with the Titans since Mike Shanahan was named Washington's coach in January.

The Titans definitely would welcome back Haynesworth, a team source said, but maintained that the Redskins' asking price was still too high. The Redskins are believed to want at least two draft picks for Haynesworth.

A Redskins spokesman said he was unaware of any trade discussions involving Haynesworth but sources say the dialogue occurred over the weekend.
The Redskins aren't saying squat. The press has their antennae up for any news. To say we gauged interest means that we asked what they would trade him for. They gave a number, it was still not enough, so be it. He will be here, and still, I say, once the season starts, and he gets to play 50-75% of the defensive snaps, this will be a non-issue. Shanahan certainly wouldn't mind getting rid of him, and he probably says to BA hey any value out there yet. When BA says not enough, MS and Haslett just need to put their coaching hats on and get AH out there making plays.

Regardless, this will be a media fest every week, as sources, leaks, and everything else throws fodder to the fire.
