On paper, Redskins have the NFL's easiest schedule in 2019

On Thursday, the NFL released a video ranking the teams 2019 strength of schedules based on their opponents combined winning percentage from the 2018 season. Appearing at No. 1, the lowest, is the Redskins. With an opponents combined winning percentage of .469, the Redskins look to have the easiest schedule for next season, though the algorithim does not factor in other factors.

Despite the simplicity of the regular season schedule the team will end up being 8-8...because Gruden lacks guts..

The NFL changes so much season-to-season these rankings have gotten more and more useless. Teams that were good this year will not be next year and Vice-Versa.

Ex. I thought the Jags game was a for sure loss this year while the Colts would have been an easy W.

You just never know anymore.

On Paper, Chico should be a good Warpath poster.

We know how that goes...

With the year to year turnaround I guarantee the Redskins won't be #1 on that list by midseason.

I think you are overly optimistic. With either Colt or JJ starting and hopefully a the future franchise rookie QB on the bench, I seriously doubt the Redskins will win any where near 8 games.

I would bet they would if Gregg Williams was HC.

I know this is a pointless post.

I'm still pissed about how the team has handled the whole off season.

Easy my ass!! 49ers, Packers, Lions, Dolphins, Bills, Jets, Vikings will be much better next year, some will be playoff contenders. Hell, even the Panthers will be tough.

Considering our QB position, every game will be tough

Perhaps not...but the team will find a way to make a easy schedule very hard....because it's the Redskin way.

And don't forget about injuries too. 2 years in a row we have been the NFL's most injured team. I don't see that magically changing this season.

It was only through somehow starting off 6-3 this year that we were able to finish 7-9 with all of the injuries and no real QB.

You are probably right though, no way we get close to 8 wins. Probably somewhere between 3 and 6 wins. It could actually be worse than that.
