Draft day 2018

FINALLY HERE!

The #Saints have made plenty of calls about making a big leap up from pick No. 27, I’m told. Could be due diligence in case a certain player (perhaps a QB) falls. But they will be well-prepared to move tonight if it comes down to it.

Per Rap sheet.

Here is a team we could possibly deal with too if we want out of 13. Hurst would prob be there at 27 and would be a steal at that pick.

Cant wait to see it all unfold. HTTR

LOVE me some draft day. Favorite sports time of the year aside from football opening day.

Made it a point to make dinner plans with boo for tomorrow night at a nice restaurant so I could get this night as a night of drink and football.

I fly out my sister in law every year as a part of "Wife's weekend" so I can enjoy the draft and the weekend, I am really surprised that she hasn't caught on, been doing this for 8 years now

Re: Draft day 2018

27, 91 and next year's 2nd for 13?

They have no 2nd this year which complicates things. I'm guessing they'd want to get higher than 13 if they're looking at qb.

They could package their first next year to move up, but I would think the REdskins would want assets in this draft

I would too. Not sure our front office would.

That's pretty much the exact DeShaun Watson deal from last year.

When someone is moving up that far in the first round for a QB, it’s a requirement you get their 2 1#s....this year and next year. That’s the starting baseline of negotiation. If they aren’t talking that..then hang up the phone.

For sure, but I don't think the Skins would do it without some kind of pick (other than 27) this year. Depends how desperate NO is.

Now if the Patriots offer both 1sts to move up today....we could probably land a Guice/Wil Hernandez combo...and boom, we have a rushing game. Add a depth Tackle and another TE who can block later in draft...Oline plan/Rushing game coming together like Voltron.

My feeling is this...with first pick if we stay at 13 we should focus only on a huge all pro potential player...R Smith, Derwin James, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Qinton Nelson, Barkley....maybe, maybe Ward.

Outside of that pick, I would love every pick to focus on helping the run game and run defense.

Looks like the Pats kept their picks and decided to fix their own run game:

Tackle/Guard Wynn and Sony Michel RB. Both come from maybe the best running program in college sans the gimmicks Navy/G Tech.

This is why they stay on top folks. Oline and Run Game
