Wrong! Indy kicked the crap out of us. We really should be 4-2 and we are.

Yeah there wasn't anything fluky about it. We weren't prepared, and it showed.

That is back to back games where the Skins were up double digits in the 4th quarter and yet the game came down to the final seconds. I think I am going to have to double up on my blood pressure medications on game days.

we got lucky on the sack / td. Greg Stroman got beat so bad on a double move that it could have been a 90 yard TD

It's not really lucky. That's why they say a good DL helps the DB's and good DB's help the DLine.

I don't think this has been posted, if so sorry for the duplicate.

Sounds like Kotwica was really studying film, the article puts it this way:
Quote:
Stories of NFL coaches working 80 or 100 hours in a week are common. But they work that long to try to find the one small thing that could change a game.

This particular situation seems very rare. Coaches might find a tendency for an opponent to not to as well if he’s forced to move right or left, but how many times do they find a habit that could produce a potential penalty in all that film study?

Kotwica had to spot Ladouceur adjusting the ball on film, and think about how intently you’d need to watch film to find that. He had to know it was a potential penalty. Then Washington presumably taught its players what to watch for and how to react to it if they saw it, and which situation to execute it.
Good going coaches!
