Re: Predict the 2009 Opening Day Roster
You can predict picking someone up if you'd like, but it has to be within reason and it's not a wish list.

Re: Predict the 2009 Opening Day Roster
For my list and a lot of other guys here they also have Eddie Williams as the back-up fullback. He played TE in college, so I would say he would also be the third string TE.

haha, just saying it seems like a thread can't be made without people talking about how it's stupid to discuss it so early, I personally like it and look forward to it again next year

Yeah. I'm thinking that you don't draft a DE at 13 to have him hold a helmet.

Also, for some reason I feel I read somewhere that we are planning to convert that the TE/FB we took in the draft to WR... anyone else remember reading that somewhere?

No one has updated their prediction to include Marcus Mason?

Re: Predict the 2009 Opening Day Roster
No, I need to cut one because of repeats as returners. Dropped Robert Thomas. Sorry, I miscounted. So here's 53:
QB: Jason Campbell, Todd Collins, Colt Brennan OL: Chris Samuels, Derrick Dockery, Casey Rabach, Randy Thomas, Stephon Heyer, Devin Clark, Jon Jansen, Chad Rinehart, D'Anthony Batiste WR: Santana Moss, Devin Thomas, Antwaan Randle El (slot), Malcolm Kelly, Marko Mitchell RB: Clinton Portis, Ladell Betts, Rock Cartwright FB: Mike Sellers, Eddie Williams TE: Chris Cooley, Fred Davis (seen in 2 TE packages), Todd Yoder DE: Brian Orakpo, Andre Carter, Philip Daniels, Rob Jackson, Lorenzo Alexander DT: Albert Haynesworth, Cornelius Griffin, Kedric Golston, Anthony Montgomery LB: Marcus Washington, London Fletcher, Rocky McIntosh, HB Blades, Chris Wilson, Alfred Fincher CB: Carlos Rogers, DeAngelo Hall, Fred Smoot (until Halloween), Kevin Barnes (#3 after Halloween), Justin Tryon S: Laron Landry, Chris Horton, Kareem Moore, Reed Doughty K: Shaun Suisham P: Hunter Smith LS: Ethan Albright PR: Devin Thomas KR: Rock Cartwright, Dominique Dorsey edit: highlighted starters just for clarity

As for my predictions: QB-Campbell, Brennan, Daniels.. Zorn has no allegiance to Collins and would rather go with his projects RB-Portis, Betts, Aldridge, Dorsey.. End of the line for Rock, Vinny wants explosive potential from his backups.. FB-Sellers TE-Cooley, Davis, Yoder WR-Moss, Thomas, Kelly, ARE, Mitchell.. Big things for Thomas this year and Kelly was flashing playmaking ability before his injuries.. OL-Samuels, Dockery, Rabach, Thomas, Heyer, Rinehart, Clark, Jansen, Mike Williams, Edwin Williams.. FO is counting on Mike Williams making the team and being a contributor.. DT-Haynesworth, Griffin, Montgomery, Golston, Alexander DE-Carter, Orapko, Daniels, Jackson.. They didn't draft Orapko to back up the Grumpy Old Ends.. OLB-Blades, McIntosh, Wilson, Glenn, Henson.. Blades WLB, McIntosh SLB, we address this in the 1st round or FA next year.. MLB-Fletcher CB-Hall, Rogers, Barnes, Smoot, Tryon S-Landry, Moore, Horton, Doughty.. Moore allows Landry to move back to SS where he's most effective, Horton sees plenty of action in the Cobra alignment.. ST-H. Smith, S. Suisham, E. Albright KR-Dorsey PR-Dorsey
