Re: Around the NFL Week 14

Holy cow - wins by the Giants, Titans, Jets, Patriots, and Bears this weekend. We should have a bye week every week. Unreal.

What a comeback by Titans. I don't think I've seen a qb maybe even player as pumped as Levis was after that comeback. Dude looked crazy excited and fired up. AFC playoffs are really up for grabs this year. Going to be fun.

Re: Around the NFL Week 14

Andy Reid walking back his criticism of the officials for Toney's offside:

"Normally, he looks over to the sideline and just gets an OK," Reid told reporters. "On that one, he just happened not to. That's the coaching point. Just make sure you check with the guy on the side just to see if you're aligned. I mean, he's not lining up offsides on purpose. Listen, he was two inches or an inch from being legal. Like I said, you can argue both sides of it."

Err, Andy, I don't think you know long long an inch is... 😉

the same thing was called on Terry last year in the Giants game we lost; but Terry actually looked over and the ref gave him a thumbs up but then proceeded to throw the flag costing us the game, fawkers

Not as bad as our 16-point choke job against the Saints. They had to get 2 touchdowns and 2 2-point conversions. And of course, they got all 4 and we lost. That game was a disaster. Have no idea if that was during NGS era or not.

That was some bullshit man. And I'm sure there were zero repercussions for it. The NFL/ref combo is the fucking mafia.

I have no clue what game or year that was. I am sorry you have used valuable brain space to remember that. The Dan Snyder era made it so that I strongly considered watching games with a roofie so I could take it once the game got bad and I would wake up ignorant and blissful. Hopefully better days lie ahead and it gets pushed out of your brain with games of mirth and joy.
