I'd hate to see Starks go to the Cowboys ... so it'll probably happen.

I DEFINATELY think that if we are offered decent compensation in a trade down, we should take Starks. This guy is from M.D., he's a monster, he's young (and a little raw), and I know he'd be a better addition than Smith, Udeze, Wilfork, or Harris.

i'd have to take your word on starks cuz i didn't watch the terps this year... but i wouldn't be quick to take any lineman over udeze (who i did watch this year).

If we trade out of #5, we'd better get a first and second. Not a 3rd and/or a 4th.

Get a DE first, and a DT second.

I think it makes too much sense to trade down now. As much as I want to see us get Sean Taylor, I think in the long run if we trade down grab Udeze and get a 2nd rounder back it wil benefit us more.

Depends on the rest of the offseason. I think Taylor will leave his mark on the league and I seriously dont see them passing on him.

Daesal makes a good point, we can't really speculate who we are going to pick up in the draft until we are done with the FA market

If we trade down...

If we trade down, do not count on an additional #2 with the other club's #1. You might see a #3 and a #6 with the #1, but not a #2. Teams just don't throw decent picks at you. The exception was M. Ditka and the 'Aints!

I have to say I'd be delighted to see the draft work out that way...

I am a big Udeze believer and think he's EXACTLY what we are missing, now that we missed out on Kearse and have absolutely NO ONE (including the new guys Griffin and Daniels) on our current D-Line that will never record 10 sacks in a season.

Without a pass ruch, your linebackers suffer and your corners are left on an island too long... I can't beleve we haven't adressed our HORRIBLE lack of pass-rushing on our line to this point.

If we get Udeze (or Will Smith for that matter) and got extra picks... I'd be the first one to sound like a Guiness commercial.... BRILLIANT!

If the skins are as close to the cap as most people think they are then they almost have to trade down a top 5 guy is just going to want too much.

Remember that there are still players on the roster like Trung that could, and probably will be cut to create more cap room...
