Re: Around the NFL Week 16

There is an improbable scenario where the vikings are the 6th seed playing Chicago and we are the 5th seed playing Dallas. It is based on us winning out, Seattle losing out (to KC AND ARI) and the Vikings splitting their last two (pretty likely actually). That would be a crazy end to the season. Or even better Dallas losing out, us winning out, and playing Minnesota at fedex in the first round

edit:
also a great weekend for us includes
the Skins winning obviously,
Seattle losing - damn near a must -

and then the following are bonus help
Philly losing to Houston - I think that is likely
Vikings losing to Detroit - highly unlikely

and finally to make the last weekend REALLY interesting
Dallas losing to Tampa - very very unlikely

I'm the one who posted the Way too early division champ poll. I always get my hopes up, but expect them to be dashed.

That is contingent on Chicago taking care of business this week. If for some reason they lose there is no incentive for them to play starters week 17.

Laugh all you want, but I would not be surprised if the 49ers win on Sunday against the bears. Niners have been playing pretty good the last 2 weeks.

Yes they have and Mullens is playing for a starting job.

And I’m sure Kyle is aware that he somehow can eliminate the Redskins playoff hopes, is not like the Redskins can do that themselves.

Even if the Bears lose (I doubt they will) they would still want to play hard.. That whole resting starters in week 17 stuff is overrated imo.

If Shanahan is coaching based on the Redskins making a 6th seed playoff birth, he won't be in his job much longer.

Not really, Vikings with KC are as likely to split the games regardless, and if the networks flex the Bears Vikings game then KC's primetime record against teams with a winning record becomes a factor.

It's mostly contingent on us winning out. Obviously a questionable scenario. Glad our game is the first game of the weekend. If we lose, I know I'm done with football over Christmas/NewYears
