Sammiches do taste better when someone else makes them. That's science. Doesn't have to be a woman though lol.

Re: New Redskin Coach Jennifer King

She’s going to be an assistant. Not that critical a position. If she doesn’t cut it, she is easily let go. RR is great at motivating his players and also making each player into a man. He is making them into GOOD men, who treat women with respect.

Players from Carolina really were thankful for their personal growth while he was the HC. That made them extremely loyal players. THAT’s how to build a winning culture.

I think it will be shocking to see the difference between the maturity and discipline of this upcoming season and the Gruden era. Gruden ran an easy TC and was more of a buddy to players. It was a total failure. Players liked Gruden because he was like Santa Claus, but I’m not sure they really respected him. Gruden tried to play it tough late in his era, but his teams were undisciplined (lots of penalties) and totally unable to get ready for a big game. They were always flat for the must win games.

If she can grow into this position, great. If not she will be quietly fired. This is a character-building exercise for his players.
They will be better for it.

Wow , we are really in the Football doldrums to be discussing this subject. She’s an assistant. What’s the big deal?

I really think this is a big non-issue. She will be fired like everyone else if they don't succeed, so regardless I'm gonna support that mission.

It would be totally different if it was a prominent role...its not, but the criticism would only be valid because of inexperience.

I agree. I don't care what's in the coach's pants as long as they can do the job.

The resume doesn't look impressive with Alliance Football on it, but Coach Ron has worked with her before, so he must trust her to get a job done. We still don't even know what role she's filling yet.

Re: New Redskin Coach Jennifer King

I don't get why there is so much pessimism with this move. It's not like she's taking over the offense, or now solely charged with the development of Haskins. You have to start somewhere, and not having any NFL playing experience is definitely not a disqualification. Pretty sure Belichick, Gibbs, maybe even Parcells, amongst many others never played a down in the NFL. There are so many coaches, past and present that if held to that bar would have never gotten the opportunity. I'm not saying that she will someday be on their level, but if she can teach what RR wants taught, and he trusts her, why the hell not. Can't be any worse at teaching than whoever in the hell was here last year. Give her a chance...

Youre missing the point. This is PC bull crap of just giving her a job she didnt earn. We all know there is no way this woman is the most qualified person for the position because of the simple fact that she is in fact a woman. Period.

Also, its being rumored that she, in fact, has never played a single snap in the NFL.

For those who ask what has JK done? Here you go:

Rashad Ross on Jennifer King: “When things weren't going right, she was good at keeping my head in the game and understanding it."

Nope. It's blatantly obvious that you sir are the one that is missing the point.
