Re: 2015 Redskins Cap Status

OP edited for the resigning of Duke Ihenacho.

He signs for minimum salary for his tenure, bumping another minimum salary player out of the top 51, so the net impact on the cap is almost 0.

Re: 2015 Redskins Cap Status

OP edited to reflect signing of Niles Paul. Tentatively estimating $1.5M cap hit net of the removal of a minimum salary player from the top 51.

Paul reportedly signed for 3 years worth up to $10M if incentives are reached.

Estimated cap hit for Paul will be revised when contract details become available.

Re: 2015 Redskins Cap Status

OP updated to reflect the tender offer to Kai Forbath, in the amount of $1.542 million. Counts about 1.0M against the cap once you account for one player being pushed out of the top 51.

Re: 2015 Redskins Cap Status

Thx already adjusted that one. Everyone let me know when you find Paea's breakdown. I will put him in at a tentative estimate for now.

Re: 2015 Redskins Cap Status

Updated with Knighton and an estimate for Culliver.

Starting to run low on cap room, unless they cleared space that we didn't know about. There was a little birdie saying Chester renegotiated but I never saw anything specific.

There may be more room here than I think but it depends on what deals were reworked.

Re: 2015 Redskins Cap Status

I thought we had between $25-$27M to start, how are we running low already?

Re: 2015 Redskins Cap Status

According to espn article: Redskins interested in signing a second CB.

"If they sign another corner, I’d imagine they would cut Tracy Porter. It wouldn’t make much sense to keep him -- and they could save $2,328,175 against the salary cap."
