Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
I will hate the Bears if they don't draft Caleb Williams. I want that decision to be out of our control, so we have to decide between Daniels or Maye.

If they don't take him I think the decision will be pretty easy.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Also, Eberflus is going to be in the hot seat since day 1. This smells Jay Grudent/Dwayne Haskins all over again. It would have been better for the Bears to fire Eberflus and let a new coach pick their QB.

I could care less if he wore panty hose, never mind someone already did that. Yeah the me tone is the bigger concern. He definitely loves him some him. But a lot of that comes with the territory with big time athletes these days. Hard to overlook the talent. |

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
I wouldn't take him if he was still there at the top of the 2nd round.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
That's a very weird thing to say.
I would hope you felt the same way about everybody here. ![]()

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
It'll be interesting to see how Caleb handles being in a city like Chicago, if he ends up there. It's obviously not like LA at all, it's such tough sports town where people care. Plus it looks like Fields has won over the fans there. If I were him I'd go back to USC. I'm making great money already and can live in LA another year. I can go back into the draft next year and hopefully land in a better situation.

Re: 2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
I think Bears fans are mixed at best on Fields. The big issue is has he done enough to commit to him long term with a big $$ contract?
There's no way CW should pass up millions and risk getting injured. That's just crazy talk. |

2024 Early Bird Draft Thread
Got no problem with CW’s over the top confidence or ego. Dude wants to win. Hope he is there at 2.
And yes if he decides to go back to school he is the dumbest m-fer of all time and I wouldn’t want him. Lol. |

Not when you say you wouldn't take him even if he was there in the 2nd round.
