Exclamation Redskins release Josh Norman

#Redskins are releasing CB Josh Norman, source says. Intriguing situation to watch, as he now has time to find his new team ahead of free agency.

So by this release I guess he has lost a step and was not just hurt. I think he took getting bench very well better then expected and played hard for the skins. Wish him the best.

Agreed, and now the focus turns to Dunbar's status.

I wish Norman the best. Had some good years then declined a good bit. Didnt live up to the contract but he was an asset, dont remember him missing too much time and took the benching this season well.

I second this as well...had high hopes for him, but he never lived up to his contract here. He was so great with the kids at training camp also. I thought maybe there was a chance he'd renegotiate his contract and be back under Rivera's defense. I guess there's a chance he's played his last game.

he was good the first couple seasons and then fell off, age does that too. He'll be lucky to start anywhere else

Resign Dunny, add Byron Jones or Bouye

Liked his toughness. But logical move.
What I like from a culture standpoint is it shows RR isn't gonna be a soft ass coach keeping people just because he knows them from Carolina.

Re: Redskins release Josh Norman

It's about time, bring in Kendall Fuller and/or Logan Ryan, draft another CB in the middle rounds and don't overpay for Jones like they did Collins.
