Should Gruden be fired ?

Gruden needs to be fired.
Injuries should NOT get him a pass. You're down to your 3rd string qb you just picked up off the street and you give the ball to AP 9 times??? Even after a 90 yard TD.
His play calling is horrible. We're continuously a sloppy, unprepared and undisciplined team. We would have choked down the stretch even with Alex. We were never as good as our record. Jay has been here 5 years and taken us to the playoffs ONCE. Since then we've gotten progressively worse every year. We will never win with Jay.

Bruce Allen needs to go too. Being linked to George Allen shouldn't get him a pass anymore.....

I am ready for this too, but I doubt it will happen. And I think it's mainly because Snyder doesn't want to pay Gruden the remainder of his contract, and he'll give the excuse of injuries. I think next year we'll have another repeat of this season with Gruden and Smith...and of course, more injuries. Our only hope is Guice is the next Todd Gurley.

Even still....Snyder has to do something.....how many more wins and less losses would the Redskins team have that's healthy? Probably 1 more win and 1 less loss at best(7-5)....

No. 8. You can't discount the absolute fucking cheat job vs. Houston .... Nonetheless, fire him.

totally agree with you his play calling is horrible no imagination and i don,t want to hear about injuries because when we were healthy we still didn,t score a ton of points i don,t even know if we scored over thirty points this year in any game .and we did need to draft a quarterback in the first two rounds this year ugh........................

They have a team in Washington DC that won last year's title with a 2-10 record. They are down to just 4 teams, they all make the play-offs.

Re: Should Gruden be fired ?

I think this is similar to the Cousins situation, you can make arguments and excuses for the lack of wins, but I just think the team needs to move on from him.

Regardless of what happens, I think Manusky needs to get canned right away. His unit has NO EXCUSE for their declining performance.

Re: Should Gruden be fired ?

The team really needs almost a complete over haul. Two QBs on the wrong side of 30 coming off of broken legs. 33 year old running back with an O-line that cannot stay healthy blocking for him. An overall slow defense that allows too many yards after first contact. Looking on the bright side we should be set at punter and place kicker for almost another 10 years.

Did you forget we have Guice? AP is a stop gap, we knew we needed a QB of the future. Beef up the OL, get some CB, LB and S help.

Re: Should Gruden be fired ?

U can't rely on DG, he is injury prone already at a young age... Not gonna be a big impact for long if he is at all

Re: Should Gruden be fired ?

Manusky is the one who needs fired. There is talent on D that just isn't being used properly.

The injuries do matter and say what you want but take away a team's #1 QB and the O line and it gets very difficult. I'd let Jay finish out his contract and see what happens.
