consistancy is a dumb criteria. ok.

Yeah people have break out years, thats what makes the game fun. Im conservative when it comes to someone who proves it for like 5 years and someone who has a breakout game. Also I dont know the rest of the team either so, im much more conservative on the advice. Im giving an opinion so relax.

Hey im 2-0 in my $150 buy in league...and just traded Nanee from San Diego for Brandon Marshall....ill stick with getting Marshall the guy doing it for 5 years for a guy who played his first consecutive games at a high level

Legedu Naanee has a lower targetting priority than Gates and Floyd.
Foster is the #1 RB and has no timeshare.
#1 RBs/wrs/etc get the most touches, which means more points.
Your Marshall comparison fails to address Foster vs. Jones-Drew.
That guy is also a moron, as he should have realized that unless the WR is Miles Austin, Reggie Wayne and maybe a couple others, WRs will have those type of days.

Both Foster and Jones-Drew are #1s, so they tie there. But Foster is on a dynamic offense while Jones Drew is on a shitty team who's going to be facing a difficult schedule in the near future. Foster is on ZBS scheme, and he runs very well in it.

Of course, this was one week ago, but RBs do not just run for 200+ yards out of the blue. It's an indicator that shows he is capable of producing well every week. That, in turn, reduces the perceived risk.

Hahaha... yeah i was going to comment on that trade too. Naanee for Marshall? Easy money!

Naanee had a good first game, but half of those yards and his score was off a busted coverage against KC. Rivers is going to look to Gates, then Floyd- Naanee is talented, but I think he'll be competing every week with Davis and Crayton for the leftovers.

I can't believe the league didn't veto that trade!

Re: Fantasy Tips

My fantasy has been suprisingly good. While one guy hasn't dominated, my Redskins have been doing a great job collectively:

Chris Cooley
Deanglo Hall
Santana Moss

Pittsburgh's defense has netted 36 pts through the first two games.

Donovan McNabb (bench, but I might start him over Rivers this week)

Make sure you know the status of Trent Williams this week before you do that. If Williams is out and Heyers in, McNabb won't be able to go down the field.

I'm sticking Rivers anyway, they're playing the Seahawks.

Whaddya think about my running backs this week:

RB - Marshawn Lynch or Steve Slaton (both recently aquired)
Flex- Knowshon Moreno

Bench:

CJ Spiller

Do you have any better wideouts? Move Moreno to the rb slot and try to fit in a receiver at flex... Lynch had a decent week, but would you trust Gailey making a commitment to that rb trio? Also, Slaton's probably going to get his return duties stripped soon, in favor of Jones.

So you're suggesting starting Pierre Thomas and Moreno at RB

my current wideouts are: Santana Moss and Eddie Royal (starting for the first time this week)

Braylon Edwards on the bench.

Yeah, that the scary thing still pending. Its a friends league so I dont think it will be. But the kicker is he approached me with it...I wasnt seeking it, so what can I do...we went back and forth on a couple things, he chose this over Mike Wallace my original offer.:FIREdevil

Hmmm, do you guys have short rosters? Who else do are your receivers?

Is your league a 10 or 12 team league? I doubt it, but see if Demaryius Thomas is still available... if not, look at a sleeper like Louis Murphy to fill out your flex. He's better in a pinch against that AZ secondary... moreso than Lynch or Slaton.

So Murphy is still out there.

Of the three who would you cut to make room:

Slaton
Lynch
CJ Spiller

Nevermind, I just dropped an extra defender that I didn't need. I added Murph, thanks.

Slaton... he's not getting enough carries to justify a roster spot- and like i said before, his return duties are about to go to Jones. I'd keep Lynch just to see if he gets traded to GB- in which case, you're roses. And that would definitely help out Spiller (who you're going to want to hold on to because a talent like that will eventually show up this season).

Also keep Keiland Williams on your watch list. Portis will eventually get hurt this season, just off the sheer way he plays. Keiland can catch passes out of the backfield and he'd be instant offense once he gets burn.
