Mahomes was drafted at 1.10. Evidently, somebody thought he was pretty good.

That's exactly what all reports said about RG3.

There is so much more to the QB position than that.

RG3 was made of glass, Haskins is huge. You don’t throw 50 tds by accident

He better be. He can't move in the pocket and will probably take a beating of he doesn't dump it quickly.

Where are the reports that go along with the accuracy of him reading defenses and understanding concepts?

Cooley (unquestionably the knower of all things) said he operated in a super simple offense with few concepts and superior talent.

Agreed. On "tough to tell every year".

I think a 3rd round pick on Grier would be solid.

And next year's QB class looks tasty if Grier disappoints.

2 years away is when the Lawrence kid at Clemson matriculates. THAT guy has lock city written all over him. Of course, we'd need to be at rock bottom to land him. But that may happen, whether we like it or not.

Haskins has no mobility. The big slow footed pure pocket QB's are going to be a thing of the past in a few years. Sure I'd love to have him but not at #15. In the 2nd or 3rd round sure.

Cannot compare RG3, who came from a spread and RPO offense to Haskins who comes from the pro-style offense at Ohio State.

There is no comparison, Haskins is the best QB in this draft.
