Just playing devil's advocate here, I'm gonna say the Redskins are an afterthought in DC sports already. The Wizards are only in the same boat because they're still in a hangover from the Grunfeld era. It's gonna take a while to get them out of hole they're in, but at least they have hope. We have none. Only the diehards remain.

This. Ill take it a step further, they have been an afterthought for a long time. This would have been a solid thread about 10 years ago.
