Great breakdown of Goff's play in the SB. (hint: terrible)
It was bad but Brady didn't play well either. It was more of the Pats scheme than the poor play of Goff

I think it had to do more with the fact that they did the exact opposite of what they did the entire year. A huge portion of their defense was man defense during the regular season. For the Super Bowl, it was 90% zone. You can imagine which defense they prepared for. BB acknowledge Patricia (Lions HC) defensive game plan earlier in the year when Goff struggled badly in that game. The difference in that game is McVay used Gurley to carry the load and win the game.

Brady played like pure ass. They won in spite of Brady's play, definitely not because of it. BB should have been named MVP truthfully. That defensive game plan was masterful.

Yeah Bill is by far the best defensive mind of all time, look at what he did to Mahomes in both meetings, nobody else could slow him down like that. Brady is coming to his end, he won't last til 45

Neither QB played their best. Brady was just average. He didn't play poorly. Goff? He had a bad game.

They need to get some better playmakers around Brady this coming year. He still had a very good year. Over 4,000 yards, 29 td's. I'd say he still has a few more years in the tank. He trains hard and takes care of himself better than anyone.
