I'm pretty sure they will refund the tickets, either with Stubhub credit or cash.

Re: Redskins General 2020 NFL Thread

Cole seems to be an over achiever. Walk on at UNC, 5th round draft pick who did admirable being put in a starting role but I think he is already pretty close to his ceiling as a player.

ILB is a position I think rookies or less skilled players can rack up some stats, like RBs. It just seems like a see and react role.

I am fine rolling with Cole and Bostic (they are affordable kinda C+ players) this year but when we are ready to truly be a top 5 defense ... we need to compliment the front 4 we have with some above average or premium LB talent. Cole and Bostic should be depth in a year or two imo, at most rotational pieces.

Interested to see what Thomas Davis will bring.

https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-to-cont...through-sept-5

109,075 tests thru Tuesday: 0.46% positive overall, 0.81% players
"I'm not aware of anyone that has had severe illness up to this point," Sills said.
Small as those positive rates are, they include what the NFL has "defined as persistent and unconfirmed positives," per Sills, so the new infection rate is likely lower, to which Sills said he's "pleasantly surprised" at the job done so far to keep out infection, Pelissero added.

Full steam ahead...I guess this will be bad news for the doom and gloom sports media who seemed to be rooting for problems.

Yes, sports fans and sports media (who rely on sports) .... dont want sports.

There is not a boogeymen around each corner or under every rock my friend.

How you spin good news about very low infections into "something something .. media devil .. something something" .... it seems exhausting.

Nobody is rooting against sports coming back especially those that work in the industry like reporters. You know how many of them have lost their jobs during all this? FFS

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones expects fans to attend home games

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/sports/...games-n1236607

You gotta respect Jerry here...I think fans can safely attend when spaced properly, we’ve seen it work in other places. Will be interesting if the skins will lift the no fans policy...they probably should.

There hasn't been much around here to be positive about in a long while... Larry was the cheerleader in that booth anyway

Re: Redskins General 2020 NFL Thread

I agree...Larry had to go regardless of his issues.

I just think Cooley and Sheehan would been the right combo of honesty, knowledge, enthusiasm and the ability to communicate that all to the fans.

Good point by JAMF...100% right.

Jerry is a f*cking idiot and delusional, specially given how terrible things are in Texas.

Cooley and Sheehan would have been a damn good booth. I can listen to those two talk football all day.

In a way, it's probably better this season for them not to have fans in the stands...seeing how most would be for the other team anyway, it wouldn't even be a homefield advantage. Not to mention a LOT of the fans would just be holding up signs saying SELL THE TEAM DAN. The players will be better off with the empty stadium sadly.
