Well he better be in camp at the end of the month. If he wants to play bad enough he better be there. I guess if he is a no show that will give us a first sign of what kind a player he is. Rather he is a True Redskin or not.

hes not going to be a true Redskin either way. Hes a free agent fill in for a few years so we have a talented vet while we find a young guy to grrom to become a core Redskin. He did just get signed this week, and teh camps what, next weekend. I guess he could fly down and stay in a hotel or somethign. Hes not going to have a play to live yet.

I don't look at barrow in the same light as deion, or george, I say give him a fair chance to earn his bones as a skin, I have been watching him for year's here in jersey, and all I can say is the giant fan's I know love the guy, and are going through the roof that they didn't resign him, he's one heck of a MLB, the only question on him is age? and I think he will be fine he play's with a big time heart.

Yeah I would have to say that the jury needs to remain out, I was always on the bandwagon of Armstead, another Giant LB that I think really stepped up for us and played pretty well during his tenure here.

I would say Barrow is a tough, blue-collar type player. The main question is can he keep up at his age. He certainly works hard and is an improvment over Trotter (at least when you compare last year's play).

He said on redskins.com he will be at camp. I hope he works out and isn't another FA dud like some of the others. I do believe this season with Gibbs we will see alot more output from everyone though.

He normally wears 58, which is Antonio Pearce's number (who recently re-signed)... so here we go again.
Throw all the numbers up into the air and see who catches what, I'm past caring. |

I still dont know why Iffy still has his number, hes not undercontract to play for us next year, so it seems like his number should be up for grabs, then if hes signed he can ask for it if he wants.

I'm assuming he must have signed the tender by now. Restricted free agenc deadline has passed, so he cannot sign elsewhere unless the 'Skins cut him, which technically - means he is still a Skin.
I'd like to know what his status is but I'm sure restricted free agents have to pla at least one more year for their team if they don't reach agreement elsewhere. I remember Darrl Pounds signing an offer sheet with Minnesota and then the Redskins retaining him, I read a press report that he was glad to sign the Vikes offer sheet because whatever happened it meant he didn't have to play the last year of his rookie contract as it stood. |
