I am not sure, I thought we did quite well in past years, but it turned out horribly. I don't think one can make a determination before even a game is played. Even after one season it is hard, becuase it takes some players at some positions a year just to get used to a new system. Which leads to my next point...systems, we have had so much turnover in coaches that players are constantly having to learn a new system, which is a major reason why we can't really evaluate. So.. in my opinion we won't know how good our offseason is until 2005 considering that the current coaching staff stays intact. Having said all that, the only known quantity is GIBBS, and he is worthy of an A+++++++++ grade.

I hope that for once the Redskins can convert an A offseason rating into an A rated season. Coach Gibbs return makes it an A.

B (maybe B-) but lets see the draft
Gibbs ofcourse is huge, but it only for 3-4 seasons right?
I am unsure how well Portis will do under the Gibbs system, I think Dillon would have been a better pick and cost less.
I am not a big believer in Brunel either but I think he will be good enough.
I think "something" needs to happen with Sameuls, he has us cap strapped
And we really overpaid for Lavar, yes hes good but hasn't been that good for this kinda payday(this will hurt us down the road)

Not sure I would agree that Dillon would be a better pick than Portis

And as for Gibbs being around for just 3-4 years who would have though we'd ever get him back for even that long. Besides 3 years is a big deal. Might have another Super Bowl title by then. Imagine if we took away three seasons of Gibbs first tenure, let's say the 1982, 1987, and 1991 seasons

In Gibbs first tenure, he went to the superbowl twice in his first three years and won one....not too shabby! I'll take that again...even if it does mean losing the SB once...the best team in our division hasn't even been able to get there three year in a row...
