this kinda stuff makes me mad... the nfl ain't college where you pick where you wanna go (in manning's case, it was probably his dad's choice). if you're the number one pick, you go where you're drafted and you play your ass off regardless. someone on the radio mentioned how this is similar to steve francis telling vancouver he didn't wanna play there and how kobe demanded a trade when he got drafted by charlotte.
so ol' archie wants his son to play behind a better line with better receivers? NY's line doesn't exactly instill confidence and while their receivers are a tad better than SD's, it's not that significant. what if eli doesn't pan out and the gints trade him to arizona down the road... nothing you can do then right? so why is this any different?
