Re: What grinds your gears: Redskins edition
Besides BA and DS and all the usual BS about the team.
Years and years of crap like this: https://redskinswire.usatoday.com/20...-to-everybody/ This is just one example of players publicly saying stupid stuff continuously. I do not care who the highest paid player on one of the worst defenses (statistically) in the league does not trust. I do not care how good Rob Ryan or Landon Collins thinks the defense will be in June. I do not care if Josh Norman thinks this may be an all time defense in July. I do not care what nickname the Oline, Dline, or secondary give themselves in the off season. Geez. Shut up already. BA, Jay, and the whole lot. Win. Just win and stop talking.

Re: What grinds your gears: Redskins edition
Also Jay Gruden's bull shit run game.
I think I recall way back in 2014, when I first signed up to post on the board, I got into a big back and forth with 30gut about Jay Gruden's desire to run the ball. I referenced all the run attempts, his commitment to the run as long as the scores were close, and thought, mistakenly the numbers backed me up. Statistics can be deceiving. Going into the 6th year of this S show of a run game, my opinion has been battered and broken. I NOW don't believe a professional football coach at this level can truly want to run the ball and have the god awful results year in and year out. You win, 30gut, I was wrong. Jay doesn't give two shits about running the ball.

Training Staff and Coaches:
Two games in a row they had a player injured and checked out by the training staff only to get an OK to go back in the game. Both players suffered severe injuries and returned to the game. This training staff is as incompetent as the coaching staff and ownership. |

Greg Manuskys beard - if hes going to call Junior high defensive schemes, he shouldn't be able to sport a beard until he mans up.

Re: What grinds your gears: Redskins edition
Since we are venting I'll say my piece:
As a lifelong Redskins fan I have seen many bad days (majority honestly) so really all I know is losing from a Fan standpoint. I said after we let Kirk walk that I really don't care about this teams W/Ls anymore because I am just Numb to the fact that it will never change. I am 32 years old, I have been a fan since the age of 6 literally 26 years and only 1 time in my life did I think the skins had a legit SB shot (1999). Dan Snyder is a fan boy that just happens to be a Owner, he is clueless when it comes to football and that is evident, the HORRIBLE GM hires over the years are just a small sample, he's had multiple HC's (Marty , Joe Gibbs, Steve Spurrier) that have GREAT resumes in the sport, and guess what? Nothing has worked. Jay Gruden has been here way too long and really needs to be shown the door asap, problem is, Nobody wants to come to DC WHY? Because of the Front Office. Fedex is a sad story, the fact that the stadium is never a "Home game" to the team is EMBARRASSING! That is all on you Dan, the fans have left and who can blame them? I hope the team finishes 3-13 and fans just stop showing to games all together starting Monday Night.

I stuck up for him for years, but I genuinely dislike him as a human now. He is a little weasel. He keeps a bigger rodent around to be his fall guy. He is example 1A of money don't make the man. I'm not against buying whatever you can afford, but fuck it doesn't suck for us fans seeing him ruin our franchise, while being rewarded for doing it. Fuck you Dan Syder.

Re: What grinds your gears: Redskins edition
It's pretty simple. Dan and Bruce. They're losers at football. Mike Lombardi nailed it last week on the Junkies. He straight up went in hard on Dan and Bruce Everything he said was truthfull.
I seriously have a bad feeling that Dan may move the team one day. He has no stadium. The fans don't care anymore and he is hated here in DC. The only way the fans come back is if Haskins becomes a great QB, or we get lucky and draft a QB like Mahomes, who can literally carry a franchise. |
