Hawks pre game thread

Vegas has Seattle a 7 point favorite, If we don't have TW and BS back I think it'll be a blowout.

If we do have those guys maybe we can pull the upset. Until I hear something i'm going with Seattle 27-17

Re: Hawks pre game thread

Every week, even with injuries, I think we're primed for an upset. Maybe this week is the week?

Re: Hawks pre game thread

I guess the question is: is Seattle better than Dallas? We just killed ourselves with turnovers and penalties that game and still had a shot in the end.

Good point.

The Seahawks have no running game. Containing Wilson will be key though. And the loss of Ioannidis will hurt us badly.

And, believe it or not, our D, stat wise, is better than the Seahawks D (Overall Skins 12th/Hawks 17th - Pass Skins 13th/Hawks 12th - Rush Skins 13th/Hawks 20th).

If we get Scherff and Bree back, I say we can win this one 27 - 24.

If we don't, we lose 28 - 20.

Re: Hawks pre game thread

The Redskins had 10 players that didn't practiced Wednesday and another four who were limited. Of that group, 13 were starters or key contributors.

Like I mentioned in another post, McClure would be IR’d and was, meaning Hall will be activated. Not a fan of Hall, but need healthy bodies.

correct.

I mean it wasn't an acceptable excuse for the Giants in 13 and 14(according to you) ,so, why now?

Re: Hawks pre game thread

There's no way this team wins in Seattle. No logical reason except for pure will power - which does happen from time to time. Realistically, this is an 'L' for our team. Emotionally, I want the 'skins to beat the snot out of the Seahawks and embarrass them in front of their fair weather fans and their gum chewing coach.

I don't want him back because he's a good player, I want him back because he's a healthy body who knows the system and we need those right now.
