Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread

Good news from training camp at WR. Gruden says he's ready to write in Trey Quinn at slot and Cam Sims is having a great camp. At the press conference gruden says he hopes Doctson can get some balls but he's low on the QB progression. I think our WR group is going to surprise teams since it was so bad last year (28 out of 32).

To be fair, it was an inappropriate comment, and he should shut up about it now, but yeah you right.

Takes alot to threaten a man recovering from cancer but I see you're ok with that chico, not surprised.

Lol you think Collins was serious? Did you even see the comment? Context counts and Collins was clearly making a joke.

But I’m 1000% confident Mara bitched to the league office about it.

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread

Per a Keim tweet:

Rookie of the day: cornerback Jimmy Moreland. He intercepted two passes, including one off Dwayne Haskins in a two-minute drill. But Moreland also made a nice play vs. a screen when he beat a block by the receiver and ran up for a tackle. Moreland is behind Fabian Moreau in...

Moreland was my late round find before the draft. So glad we got him.

Sims is a physical specimen. I can see Doctson getting cut, and Sims replacing his role.

One name that has been quiet is Paul Richardson, lets hope he gets it together

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread

#Redskins have signed guard Hugh Thornton, according to NFL source. He’ll be at practice today, though I’d expect he’ll need a few days to get acclimated. Started 32 games at guard for Colts from ‘13-15, but leg injuries forced him to retire at 25. Healthy now. Add him to the mix

28 out out of 32? Shocked they were that good. How could 4 teams be worse.

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread

Trey Quinn will probably lead the team in catches

I think Quinn will be the breakout player this season. He's been impressive along with Cam sims. MacLaurin has also been doing well in camp. don't hear richardson's name much at all.

WR group is going to surprise the NFC East. New players with speed, size and youth.

Doc Walker is raving about this kid.

I'm looking forward to seeing him play this preseason.
