That and the news of a baby on the way has me downsizing my collection. So what I have is 2 framed redskins jerseys. My "2 TE set". The frames are redskins frames that actually open in the front to place the jerseys in with the redskins logo embossed on them. They ran me about 250 a piece online. I have a game worn Fred Davis jersey from 2010 when he was still wearing 86, I had him sign it as well. The second is a Chris Cooley on field authentic signed by Chris, and given to me from Demaurice Smith at a charity event I donated to. So I am thinking 1000 is a fair price for the set, thoughts? If intrested PM me and I will give you more info. I have pics but not sure how to attach them. see attached link for my craigslist ad I just posted.

Framed Redskins Jerseys (ONE GAME WORN)

The Fred Davis jersey is a game worn and he clearly stated that the Cooley jersey was not game worn, but an on field authentic. Players can't wear authentic jerseys on the field so I really don't understand what he's saying there.

The Cooley jersey is just an authentic like anyone can buy. It wasn't worn by him.

Its is a shadow box that you put the jerseys into yourself. They can actually be removed. The front of the frame opens up, the jerseys are placed on a clear rod, and they rest on a small hook. Can send pictures to explain if interested.

That makes your price close but a bit high. You figure a used shadow box is $50-$100 each.

Cooley is declining in value in the memorabilia business so he is a tough sale. Honestly, I think you will struggle to sell the Cooley for $150 out of the shadow box. Of course, in a year or two the Cooley will be worth as much as a Portis or Stephen Davis.

Fred Davis is the "tech stock" that could go either way right now. I don't know much about game worn jerseys. Do autographs on them increase the value or does it hurt the value like on a rookie card? I can tell you on my website I have Fred Davis double inscription custom jerseys (not NFL) for $85 bucks. Obviously a game worn would be worth more, but how much is tough.

So 700 for the set is more reasonable?

You might want to try eBay. My gut tells me you are still high, but I honestly don't know much about game worn stuff. If the Redskins win the Super Bowl this year and Fred Davis is a stud, then this price is a bargain just for him.
