20 years of this garbage, nothing is changing, the Skins are who they are.

I stopped investing much emotionally a few years ago, I used to watch every single snap, now if they fall behind I turn it off or turn to a better game. Or if better plans come up I'll record the game and go back and watch it after (which I rarely do since they're just not worth watching most of the time). Haven't bought any Skins merch in at least 2 years either. At this point I look forward to the Mets season much more than the Skins.

Sucks but it is what it is. Snyder has wrecked this team.
The only way things change are if Allen is fired, not promoted; he should have nothing to do with the Redskins. Snyder sells the team or finally gets someone competent to run the franchise.

Agree with this 100%.

The real problem with the Skins is that everyone sees what they are except for the Skins. The Skins are way worse than Miami because Miami has accepted what they are are is doing what they have to do to get better. The Skins are still in denial that they are garbage and from what Bruce said yesterday, the organization thinks they are close to being good. Until the Skins stop lying to themselves and their fans nothing will change.

Jay had no intention of playing Haskins and didn’t do anything to invest in his development. I’m not grading Haskins on anything that goes on the rest of the year. This isn’t a good situation to be in. OConnell isn’t McVay.

With that said, Dwayne needs snaps! Get the kid on a plan and roll him out week 9 when things settle for a few weeks.
He needs a lot of work for sure, yet I see lots of positives that he doesn't show any of the common glaring weaknesses high draft pick busts of the past have had. Even though 3 picks in a little more than a half are a disaster, I did not see him staring down receivers, fleeing the pocket before pressure, and making one read and if that is covered taking off running.

This! If not for this site, my interest would be next to none...misery loves company!

I'll put my 2 cents in on who I think the next coach will be...Todd Bowles...and Dan and Bruce will hire O'Connell as the OC before that, because you know...that's what they do.

Very well could happen

I'll toss another name out there, Gregg Williams

Why Gregg Williams? He should go hangout with his buddy Jeff Fisher, he’s no better than Callahan. How is his Jets D doing? He’s way overrated and likes to put bounties on players, the latest being OBJ.

This hurts my soul.

Dan and Bruce will not get this right.

I don't get this at all. I'm not the biggest fan of hiring retreads but GW while here was pretty damn good. He was a big reason the team made the playoffs twice. He had the best defenses since Snyder took over. The defense was never as bad as it is now under GW. He may be a little rough and tough to deal with but I don't care. Bruce definitely won't want him but maybe Snyder will.

If I recall correctly, Gregggg was next in line to get the HC job when Gibbs retired but was passed over for Zorn.
Pretty sure his hatred for Danny Boy exceeds what we feel for him.

If I remember correctly he got an extra boost in his salary ($1million?) to hang in there the previous season so that he could return as head coach. Didn’t work out obviously, and there are likely bad feelings from that episode, but who knows, time and money can overcome a lot.

Why?

Just connect the dots. He has a good relationship with Snyder and if GW wants another HC gig his only shot may be here.

I totally agree, his only shot to be a HC again would be here and no where else. I know one thing, he'd get more out of this defense than the current regime.
