Just to amortize the signing bonus over a longer period of time. He's got another year or two with the team. At the end of that, the dead money will be small and manageable.

Glad we locked him up for more years. He's one of the top FBs in the NFL and I wouldn't want to see him blocking for Jacobs or Peterson against us!
