This is a D that can be beat if we make the most of our opportunities. Having had a bunch of bend-don't-break defenses of our own over the years, I never think that is terribly sustainable. But winning in Arrowhead has proved really, really hard, and keeping up this kind of momentum may be pretty hard as well.
Tough task for sure, and I wouldn't presume to win in Arrowhead. But I sure as hell like our chances a lot more today than I did yesterday morning!

Re: Raiders Skins POST GAME

Beating the Raiders is like stealing a game. We all play the game when the schedule is released, that's a win, that's a loss, that's a win, that's a win, that's a loss...

Every one of us would have had the Raiders as a stone loss. We won one we weren't expected to.

One game at a time, but string together a couple of those this season and that's the kind of thing that makes you start to dream...

If there's anything that will propel this team to new heights, it will be rallying around an identity: hit harder, fight harder, fight longer. Win in the trenches, let everything else take care of itself.

How do we not? The guy wreaks havoc on opposing offenses.

Nothing more enjoyable in football, than watching your team punch people in the mouth on defense. That was utter domination. Minus the fumbles, could have been a shut out.

Re: Raiders Skins POST GAME

Just saw the game, holy hell what a win! As complete a performance as I'm ever gonna see, that's for damn sure. First off, I need to eat a big heaping plate of crow for talking shit about Greg Manusky. Jury is still out but his stock just took a massive jump.

There were a few negatives, Crowder needs to stop letting these once-a-game lapses happen, he's normally as solid as they come. And Perrine needs to improve his vision, and his ball handling skills. Can't be fumbling the rock. Other than that, A++ for everyone.

Perrin missed several BIG HOLES that could have taken the distance..you could see the holes on replay he is almost to quick to the line and runs into blockers before they open it up..patience grasshopper..

Re: Raiders Skins POST GAME

Unbelievable game, defense was so dominating, like someone said been a long long time since we've seen the skins defense show up and play like that,if only they played with that same intensity every game.Kept waiting for them to give up the big play but it never happened.
Did not want to see Rob Kelley get hurt but have been wanting to see the rookie get more carries and I've always thought Mack Brown should be thrown more in the mix,Gruden barely used him last year either.I really dont want to see Kelley get his job back,he doesnt look the same to me as he did last yr when he got his first opportunity,I have not been impressed, would rather see Brown get his carries.
Cousins played his best game by far this yr,pass to Doctson was great{and in bounds}and great catch by Josh, great to see him finally contribute.
Overall great win, best win we've had in a long time.

How did Buffalo let Brown walk out the door? That guy so far is a total stud.

To me, it’s quite clear what the assortment of specialized stats and film-study grades indicate about Brown — he’s become a boom-or-bust linebacker, someone capable of short bursts of incredible play who severely lacks consistency.- From the article

Kinda confusing article ... but its a case study focus on Bills LB Preston Brown. Unless you were pointing to it to say they let Zach walk bc they liked Preston more. Im guessing the Bills only want to carry 1 successful LB at a time. Still trying to pull a Major League and suck enough to move the team to Toronto.

Basically, sounded like they were high Preston Brown and rich at ILB. Much like us with PG and Djax.
