Re: Redskins trade for Ha Ha Clinton-Dix

I agree, Clinton-Dix got 4 days to learn the defense, which means he had approx. 96 hours hours to learn the defense. 96 hours? That's plenty of time. Plus, look at how common it is for players to memorize a scheme in 4 days, why I'm sure there's one example that could be named of how easy it is to learn a scheme in 4 days. Just one example, that's all we need. And we're not talking no Jonathan Coopers either, we're talking "stud player that learned every call and had a big game on top of it."

I watched EVERY snap HAHA took against the high powered Rams Offense and he was very good in coverage , plays the MOF and doesn't get beat deep. IDK where that came from but its false.

Hard to expect a guy to come in and learn a scheme in less than a week.

With that being said yes he hasn't made a difference. Still a dumb idea to expect him to learn the scheme immediately.

The last Ha Ha is on the skins for bringing this guy in. Is it just me or has the D looked like shit from the day he stepped on the field.

It didn't work, but I don't have a huge problem with it. We got him for a 4th round pick, and we'll likely get a compensatory pick back for letting him walk. Oh well.

Still no problem with the trade either. You're in the hunt, you go for it.

That being said, the impact isn't there, so based on what he's likely to get in the open market, I'd rather let him walk and take the compensatory pick.

If there is a way we can keep him for a Swearinger like deal I'd keep him and see what they can do together. Probably not realistic, but maybe.

Put Nicholson back as a starter, Ha-ha is just a joke.

Re: Redskins trade for Ha Ha Clinton-Dix

He's in a tough spot, u are asking a guy to learn coverage concepts for a whole new team halfway through the season. His main job is to cover the MOF and not let deep balls get behind him. He's done a good job at that, he's just not a very good tackler and lacks that aggression u need in a deep S.
