Happy Tax Day!

Uncle Sam thanks you. Are you getting money back or are you square? Anyone attending a teabag party?

Re: Happy Tax Day!

Teabag party just sounds wrong.

I'm getting $$ back and I'll be doing my best to pump it right back into the economy.

Anderson Cooper thinks it's too hard to talk when you're teabagging. LOL.:

Somebody on another site pointed out that the teabagger is perfectly free to speak. It's the teabagee that can't talk.

One of the the less likely moments in my life occured last night when I had to explain this reference to my elderly father ("What is this 'tebagging' reference the Liberals keep making"). Thanks a lot Rachel Maddow.

What in the hell does Rachel Maddow know about teabagging anyway? I found it all types of laughable that while on-air, she couldn't say the word "teabag or teabagging" with a straight face. Oh, wait a minute, for her to be able to do that would be impossible.

I sometimes watch her to hear to see how the left would spin certain topics of the day, and of course for comic relief.

Re: Happy Tax Day!

I did my taxes back in the beginning of Feb.

How many of the Warpath members wait until the last day? I always like to do mine ASAP even if I owe money. I suffer from CRS and would surely forget if I waited until the 11th hour.

Re: Happy Tax Day!

I always get a refund, so the sooner, the better. I did mine at the end of February, and had my Federal refund in about a week (State of Maryland in 2 business days).

The latest I waited was March 31st one year...but I was young, dumb and lazy then. Some say while I'm no longer young, I'm still dumb and lazy...

Re: Happy Tax Day!

Did mine in the first week of Feb, as soon as I could (always have one W-2 to wait for from a lazy employer...)

By the way, the Tea Parties are more about educating and showing resistance to spending and the Government overtaking every aspect of life than it is about high taxes.

If you think our taxes are high now (which they are)...just wait, they'll be going UP and UP in the next few years, then we'll REALLY have something to complain about. We really haven't seen anything yet. Look at Europe.

Re: Happy Tax Day!

I also did mine the first week of Feb. Got a pretty decent refund.

Nope, I get nothing back because they already gave it to me with the porkulus bill. They said they gave me $600 but the check was only for $300. Oh well . . . . We're having a tea party in the center of Richmond right across from where I work. Sadly I'll not be there because I'm going to see the Greatful Dead in Charlottesville. It's a shame too. I was looking forward to hitting on some Conservative chicks. There's always next year.

Re: Happy Tax Day!

I usually get mine in right away but this year we had to wait as we had a lot of complicated issues. Had to hire someone to do them.

Re: Happy Tax Day!

Can anyone hear tell me what they even paid in taxes this year without looking at there tax return? Funny how the liberals make fun of people who are tired of a bloated goverment that waist our tax money like they are some idiots. The idiots are the people who think the goverment is great and we should just keep sending them more money for them to waist.
