Re: RIP Dwayne Haskins

Was he walking from a car on the freeway? Or was he just walking on the freeway randomly?

Definitely curious to read more about this once there's been more time to look into it.

RIP young man...
Didn't watch the video, but you'd sure like to understand what happen... Life ahead of him, and as has been said, not the worst life to live either... Just sad.

RIP Dwayne Haskins

I read that the Pitt Penguins had a moment of silence for him before their game against the Caps. Classy move. And what a terrible shame for someone so young to die like that.

Classy Gil. Way to tie two completely unrelated events to demonize a young man.

After someone dies, can you at least wait 72 hours before saying something stupid?

So far from what I have read and I am just passing on information I've heard. He had run out of gas and was stepping out of the car to cross the roadway. I could be off on this .

RIP Dwayne Haskins

There’s definitely more to this , if he ran out of gas he clearly could have called for help… He’s an nfl QB, guys are always around to assist those dudes.

Also how did he not see a dump truck coming at him?

Something definitely isn’t adding up.

Men don't always call for help, even if needed and available. Being young, probably even more likely. Not sure how much money changes that.

And he could have underestimated how fast cars are moving on freeways.

Could simply be a deadly series of mistakes on his part.

He's dead either way, so I guess it doesn't really matter. But I still hope this was the case.

If his car wasn't involved in the story at all, then you start thinking a possible mental health issue or drug/alcohol related event happened. Those are when you start thinking, what could have been done different by anyone besides him, to possibly prevent this. The answer still might be nothing. But you definitely think about it.

Thanks for the info.

Like many things, this is a definite wait and see deal. So hopefully patience rules the roost.

Just such a shitty situation.

Re: RIP Dwayne Haskins

It doesn't make any sense at all. I assume the driver of the truck has talked to police as to what actually happened. It just seemed so avoidable.

I know, you were included in my response as people that will wait longer to make any legitimate personal responses about what happened.
