Oh, that's a nice way to put it too. So basically he's your starting outside CB and slides in the slot on nickel and dime formations ?

Some good Thomas Davis Quotes. One of the more useful Redskinswire articles I've read. A lot of times they post nothingburgers about nothingburgers.

Hard not to love this guy:

Hope he does great in his return to DC. We certainly could use his skills.

Good read about Kevin Pierre-Louis

https://www.hogshaven.com/2020/5/31/...together-in-dc

Personally I like the signing. Depth at linebacker. Plays an interesting style. I could see Del Rio using him in some schemes.

Yes like the signing. Him and Davis were great signings. Like the fact that KPL has speed. That is coveted in itself. Hope he gets it in DC and contributes. He should certainly be motivated.

HTTR!

Re: Redskins Free Agent Signings 2020

Any news on Jason Peters or Larry Warford's status with teams?

Will they sign in this kinda-sorta-dead period, or wait until pre-season?

Will the Skins pursue either or both of these guys?

Pierre-Louis is one of the better coverage linebackers in the NFL. He graded out at 90.1 in coverage by PFF. He is a still-young vet who runs a 4.5 forty. He filled in for the injured Roquan Smith for the final four games last season and reportedly played very well.

Isn't he the exact type of FA signing we've been wanting the Redskins to make?

Re: Redskins Free Agent Signings 2020

I’d like to see Darby return to his early form. He’s just one of a bunch of young players on a “ make it or become a used car salesman” one year deals. Some will be busts, but I also see a few surprising everyone by making big personal comebacks to become Redskin’s starters in 2021.

I’d especially like to see Darby succeed because then he can “put it to his old team”, like DeSean Jackson did it to us last season. I’d love to see him intercept Wentz for an INT or two when we play the Eagles this season!!

I still don't understand this story line from last season. DeSean left the the team for more money in Tampa. The only team that dumped him was the Bucs when he would not produce and (surprise, surprise) was hurt most of the season.
