PETA should have nothing to do with Vicks return to the NFL.

Jeff Garcia.

Cambell is too comfortable without having to look over his shoulder. And if Cambell pulls it together then we would still have a quality veteran back up.

He'll probably go to the vikes to be a starter plus he wants money which we can't be giving to QBs

So what do you do with Collins? Cut him and take an unnecessary cap hit of about $2.5M? Or do you cut wonder boy Brennan?

Wow, I didn't realize Collins would be that big of a cap hit. But if it means having the option of putting an exciting QB on the field that gives your team a chance to win then yeah, pay the 2.5.

Collins has played a handful of games the last decade or so and for all we know he was a system QB.

We need to stop babying Cambell by telling him that he is the man. If he wants this job he needs to go out and compete with someone who is a competitor and win it.

Dansby was just franchised

Re: The Case For...

I would make a strong case for Ravens center/guard Jason Brown. Depending on exactly how much he wants, I think he would be a great investment to add some more youth (well....some) to our o-line. He's only 25, and has had two great seasons - arguably pro bowl worthy seasons. He would do a great job filling in at either guard or center, which are both key needs this offseason.

I agree takethecake and welcome to The Warpath. If we could get him at a reasonable price he would be a great addition to our line. I think his price is going to be pretty steep though and we might not be able to afford him. But I would love to get him!

Re: The Case For...

Thanks for the welcome 53fan, a couple sites I was looking at say there's around a 50% chance of brown staying with the ravens, so that helps us. Unfortunately, there will probably be a lot of other teams looking to sign him, and especially after gross and carey's big deals, they might be willing to throw more at him than the skins can with their current cap situation...

...that being said, we can hope something works its way out...
