Re: Redskins Mock Draft
Great Question, I would if it meant he is the franchise QB. I agree with you though, it's time to stop the BS Free Agent QB stuff, we let our own walk last yr, lets go get a QB and mold him into a franchise guy.

We've gotten unparalleled production from our 2nd round pick in the past 3 drafts. A WHOPPING 3 combined starts... Trade the 2019 2nd + a 2020 mid for Rosen for fuck's sake.

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
You're right. Our 2nd round picks have been just as successful as our 1st round picks. We have had no trouble drafting second tier players once the top tier guys are off the board.
We should definitely trade 2020's 1st instead of 2019's 2nd for this reason.

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
Any surprises for the draft coming up from the Skins? I wouldn't say trading for Rosen would be a surprise....but maybe a player, position, or trade out of the first round...?
I think my surprise would be the Skins picking a Tackle with one of the first 2 picks. I think we are really scouting there...we have had a ton of Tackles in private workouts...So my call is Tackle a lot higher than folks think.

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
A tackle in the first two rounds? Yeah I wouldn’t be happy with that.

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
I think Jonah Williams could be a big time Guard so if we took him at 15 I'd be ok

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
Per Walter Football who yearly compiles the visits of prospects to teams they learn of through social media and beat writers...Pri is Private meeting which would indicate a more serious visit. WOR is private workout...again seemingly a more serious visit. > pointed up is multiple contacts with prospect. So makes sense QB are plenty on this list....but look at the Tackle list. Lots of top, middle tier prospects. Of course this doesn't mean this is a board for them, just good discussion piece.
Kendall Blanton, TE, Missouri (EW) David Blough, QB, Purdue (EW) A.J. Brown, WR, Ole Miss (PRI) Hakeen Butler, WR, Iowa State (PRI) Blake Cashman^, ILB, Minnesota (COM, PRI) Davion Davis, WR, Sam Houston State (WOR) Andre Dillard, OT, Washington State (PRI) Jon Duhart, WR, Old Dominion (EW) Chuma Edoga, OT, USC (SR) Jordan Ellis, RB, Virginia (EW) Ryan Finley^, QB, N.C. Good info here with Matt Bowen and Keim about the upcoming draft. Bowen says pass rusher at 15 first Sweat if he falls or Burns for the Skins.

Redskins Mock Draft
Interesting, by my count, the number of visits per position breaks down as follows:
WR: 14 OT: 9.5 (one identified as OT/G) QB: 9 DT: 3.5 (one identified as DT/DE) OLB: 2.5 (one identified as OLB/DE) G: 2.5 (one identified as OT/G) ILB: 2 TE: 2 RB, C, FB, CB, and DE: all 1 (the DE "1" are two guys identified as DE/DT or DE/OLB) Maybe it's hard to take too much from this (because raw numbers won't reflect interest in individuals per se and some of this may be smokescreens), but given our G situation, they must think that some of these OTs would convert to G. But I have to say, I am surprised we're not seeing more at G, ILB, OLB, C, and CB. And no safeties at all?
