Re: Sam Howell takes Down Dallas postgame
This team has more talent than the Dolphins as a whole and GB as a whole especially on offense but QB play killed us in those 8 losses

QB, o-line, defense didn't play all that well in a few games either. They got ran over last week by Clev which is inexcusable.

We shall see what happens within the next week or so. My guess is Ron is coming back. He still has two more years left and Dan is still the owner, and probably will be for the next couple months.

Damn it punch. No! We need to get the best qb prospect available.
We need to do that every year till we get the guy. |

If we had any semblance of an oline, a real OC, and BR and AG running today Howell would have been all we need. Dude has a gun, and wheels, and he knows when to run. He simply needs experience. No doubt we would be in the playoffs if he started all year. Number one priority is oline. Then CB, and ILB. Get a more consistent kicker and this team will be in business. |

Re: Sam howell takes Down Dallas postgame
Sone of us believe that Sam is gonna be the guy ! I’ve seen a lot of those can’t miss guys flop .. I like Sam better than Most of the Qb drafted in front of him .. including Pickett and Willis .

Even if Howell's not the guy, don't make any massive reaches (Unless one is pining to be like the Raiders).

Re: Sam howell takes Down Dallas postgame
So if the best QB prospect isn't as good as the prospect you already have when your 1st rounder comes up (and that will be a strong possibility) you (as GM for the day) would draft him with your first pick (Even if you could probably wait 3-4 rounds to draft him anyway)???????

Re: Sam howell takes Down Dallas postgame
What a strange game this was. Joey Slye gets an F minus. Howell showed he can play and also showed he still has plenty to learn before he earns the starting job - but he can at least compete for the job in the offseason. Ron showed he can become the first HC to lead a team to a .500 record in a 17 game season. Scott Turner still showed me nothing to get excited about. Khaleke Hudson showed he deserves more PT. I especially loved his bit about hard work being undefeated postgame.
BTW for all the shit-talking about Dak, he was 9-1 against the Commies before today. 9-2 now and a well deserved 9-2 but 9-2 nonetheless. He also had the Cowboys averaging more PPG than Mahomes or Allen since 2020. Hopefully today provided the blueprint to beat him going forward.

Shit talking Dak is cus the guy is a turnover machine not cus he couldn’t beat us. Dak has been awful this year. Every quarterback in the world is 9-1 against us. Lol. And Im not sending Howell to the HOF or anything but let’s remember he did what he did against a good team, with Scott Turner calling the plays, a third and fourth string RB, no TE, and no Oline! Not sure how much more you could have asked from a guy making his first start under those circumstances. Im pretty excited about this guy moving forward. Got the arm strength. Got the mobility. Everything else will come with repetition. But you cannot teach arm strength or mobility. |

Re: Sam Howell takes Down Dallas postgame
I would draft a QB only if it’s a legit Prospect and it’s not going to cost picks.

Re: Sam Howell takes Down Dallas postgame
A mid rounder, I would not waste a pick. My gut tells me Howell is it, I haven't had this feeling in years, probably since Trent Green.
