Speaking of WRs
The Washington Football Team is expected to sign WR Dontrelle Inman, source said, a move that should be made today pending physical. The veteran played 7 games for the #Colts last year, with 12 receptions for 181 yards.

Re: WFT 2020 Training Camp
Yeah I wouldn't expect too much but never know, maybe he can add some quality reps

Re: WFT 2020 Training Camp
Honestly, I wouldn’t mind giving Josh Gordon a try out. We are way thin...this season is gonna be a tryout period for a lot of guys.

Re: WFT 2020 Training Camp
12 catches for 181 yards.
Well, that just about replaces Paul Richardson's numbers...hopefully for a LOT less money.

Re: WFT 2020 Training Camp
In 2016 with the Chargers he had 58 catches for 810 yards and 4 TDs, so yeah that's probably his ceiling

Re: WFT 2020 Training Camp
That was the year Keenan Allen tore his ACL at the beginning of the Week 1 game.
It was scrub time from the get-go for the Chargers that year.

Re: WFT 2020 Training Camp
We are probably not competing for anything special this year and this guy has had chance after chance after chance to show he will take football seriously. He is the last dude I want around a bunch of young guys or in the locker room at all really. If we were one weapon away from competing Id say give him another chance but we are not. The reward does not outweigh the risk in this case. It’s a no for me dawg. |

Re: WFT 2020 Training Camp
I didn’t know Sam Mills was on the coaching staff. Love it! That guy played with real abandon and was a great team leader. And he know Rivera and his defense.

WFT 2020 Training Camp
Quote:
I think the pass rush is going to be great and the entire defense will surprise some ppl by moving from our prior dog shitte status to a “top 10” defense. I see the biggest improvement and surprise for the NFL as being Dwayne Haskins. Most of the NFL stopped watching Haskins after his first game. They assumed that he was going to be a draft bust. I see him winning some games for us this year. That’s if we can get some WR’s past McLaurin and Sims, Jr. AND the OL is decent. The biggest question is at TE. We didn’t pick up anyone significant in the draft or UDFA or FA except maybe Moses. Moses is a long shot. I think Rivera is going to regret not picking one of the top TE FA or using a higher draft choice or trade pickup at this position. Although we have more questions at the OL, I think we have some good talent and backups there. We’re just not sure who the real performers are going to be. At TE we have NOTHING unless we get another UDFA miracle like Steve Sims, JR. I think our latest WR pickup (Inman) shows that Rivera and Smith want to try a bunch of WR from previous years, UDFA, our draft picks. I think we will find good or surprisingly WR to add to McLaurin and Sims, Jr. It’s TE I’m really worried about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: WFT 2020 Training Camp
John Keim - Rivera said Alex Smith knows about 75% of the playbook already, and says Haskins isn't far behind that. Says DH has done the extra things and has done the job that deserves recognition.
I'm really happy to hear that the guy that most likely won't even play, is ahead of the "probable" starter in learning the new playbook. Awesome. Why would he say that? |
