Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread

Somehow, after decent-to-great seasons in all of my leagues, I LOST in all three of my leagues...one and done in the playoffs.

The best I can hope for is 5th-place in one of my leagues...done playing in one of them.

I didn't see that coming...all of my teams were on win streaks after slow starts. Guys like Victor Cruz were getting me 1 point and I had a ton of zeroes last week from star players.

Some advice:

If DeAngelo Williams is somehow still out there, grab him and start him. He was available a couple weeks ago he's been on a tear...one of my few positives at the end.

Vick Ballard too...since Donald Brown is on IR now and Delone Carter is hurt too.

Pick two receivers, any two:

Greg Jennings v. Tenn
Jordy Nelson v. Tenn.
Wes Welker @ Jax
Denario Alexander @ Jets
Lance Moore @ Dallas

I am leaning towards Welker and Moore. Hard to pass up the GBay guys, but neither has been producing as of late. I trusted Alexander last week - not again.

Moore and Welker are the best options. The only GB receivers producing anything fantasy-wise are Cobb and Jones. Alexander...could be a good options...but Cromartie may shut him down.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread

Not Nelson. I've been frustrated with his health and inconsistency all year. Now's not the time to play the risk game...take the sure points.

Until Alexander's dud last week, he was on fire. The Jets actually have a decent secondary. Risky start.

No Jennings...Ruhskins is right about Jones and Cobb.

Wes Welker vs. Jax sounds good. Anyone vs. Jax sounds good.

Lance Moore has been very consistent and productive lately. I expect a shootout in Dallas.

Start the bolded guys.

best solution is to leave both spots unfilled!

See, that's desperation for you. This isn't for our game. I don't need advice on how to whoop your sorry ass.

Man, I offer you a backhand compliment (obviously it wasn't our game given the list of players), but that must have been to complicated for your cro-magnon mind.

Re: Fantasy Football 2012 Thread

Any of you guys have Steven Ridley? I'm in my championship game for this week (16) and I have Ridley. After Sunday night and his fumbles and benching, I'm wondering if he will be in the Belicheck doghouse for this week. I can flex him out for a guy like T.Y. Hilton or Santana Moss or Danny Woodhead. Should I get him out or leave him in?

TY Hilton or Moss are better options IMO. Pats' RBs are usually not reliable, but then again I can see Belichick wanting to run up the score on Jax.

Ridley has been more than reliable this year.

Houston def vs Vikings or Patriots def vs Jaguars? Houston defense is almost always reliable, however Patriots defense is too good for Jags' offense
