Re: What do you want to see the rest of the Year?
Ending up in position to draft LT Andrew Thomas would be a good spot to be in.
This is video of every snap of the Georgia offensive line vs the Alabama defensive line in the 2018 SEC Championship game. Andrew Thomas pushes Quinnen Williams around as well as anybody possibly could. Very technically sound.

If we come out of the draft with Andrew Thomas or Chase Young, the draft is a win to me.

What do people say about this graphic:
To me, our defense would be so much better with a new DC, that we should be looking at OT or QB not Young regardless of his projected talent. |

You think we should get rid of him for doing things like when its 3rd and 18 rushing 3 men so the QB can have all day to pass.

He's got probably two good years left, even giving him the benefit of the doubt on this year's performance. I wouldn't pass up Chase Young under the guise that we're set at pass rusher for the foreseeable future.

Re: What do you want to see the rest of the Year?
That said I think it's easier to get a strong pass rusher than it is to get a LT like Andrew Thomas. We might not get a Chase Young with our 2021 first rounder, but Kerrigan was a mid-first rounder, Sweat dropped down to the bottom. You can get edge rushers, not that it's easy or that any of them will be as good as Chase Young.
But I can't think of as many examples of stud LTs being plucked from back end of round 1. It's a scarcity issue and a huge need for us.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but resigning Flowers should be a huge priority. He has solidified the LG spot in a badly needed way.
+1 on the LT also being a priority too. Penn is solid but I saw a couple plays where he got beaten easily back there. Haskins being slow with his progressions doesn't help either. |

Re: What do you want to see the rest of the Year?
After hearing all the talk of how Haskins is a cant miss and steal of the draft you will have to excuse me for not buying into the hype if ANY college kid coming into the NFL .. The list is long of the players who were gonna dominate at the next level.. I’m for trading down and getting more and more picks ... look at Scary Terry was a he a first round? In fact we gave a lot of our better players who were not top picks..

Re: What do you want to see the rest of the Year?
Yep ..Pretty sure I read it here ! In fact just went back and read the thread on the draft and other than a very few folks everybody including me thought it was a great pick...some even said we got the BEST QB in the draft and then the so called experts said we had one of the best drafts.. all I’m saying is I’m not buying into any player being the can’t miss pick. Don’t take my word go read all the hype that was being said ..then the same people later on including me are saying he could be a bust.. I hope the kid works out but I’m not convinced now..

Re: What do you want to see the rest of the Year?
No in fact most of us were wanting Murray but when we all realized AZ was taking him, I wanted Rosen as plan B.. So Haskins was a nice pick considering we had no other options at QB
