Report: Grossman Starting on Sunday
Kelli Johnson of CSN Washington is now reporting that Rex Grossman has been given the nod to start on Sunday. I haven't heard if confirmed or denied anywhere else

Well, at least we won't be talking about hypotheticals regarding the backup like with JC/Collins.

Re: Report: Grossman Starting on Sunday
If that quote about the locker room is correct, this might be a blunder that extends into the offseason & next year. I see a roll over & die performance in the works is this is true:

The locker room is divided and guys are upset? Awesome.
Man, WTF is Shanahan doing? This makes no sense whatsoever. Trading for McNabb was just a total, epic fail. So much for the Skins not being laughing stock anymore.

Re: Report: Grossman Starting on Sunday
Good lord. If Rexs falls on his face the Shannahans look like idiots, but if he plays well then McNabb will look washed up and is probably gone next year.

Re: Report: Grossman Starting on Sunday
You would figure that Kyle has lobbied for Rex, just as before in the det. game. Just have to wonder what MS is thinking on this?

Re: Report: Grossman Starting on Sunday
I have a question: Why the hell did we sign McNabb to an extension? Even though we're not on the hook for much if he doesn't come back next year, why even do it at all?
It's breaking news on SportsCenter right now. God we're a joke.

Re: Report: Grossman Starting on Sunday
Thank goodness we can jettison McNabb without paying him any more money -- man, losing a lot of faith in Shanahan

Sweet. Our latest "savior" only took 13 weeks to lose the team. I'm beside myself right now. This is just the cherry on top of a blunder-filled season.

Re: Report: Grossman Starting on Sunday
he is 5th, i think, in passing yards right now. he isn't playing great but a lot of this has to do with play calling. it's not the fact that this may or maynot be a bad call it's the fact that it is now obvious that there is no plan in place for the future of this team. and thats the scary part.
