Re: Ron Rivera
The key was benching Wentz. Not meaning to throw it all on him but the chemistry was just way off. Some was obviously on Turner. We don't have a QB that can chuck it around 45+ times, even though we have the pass catchers to do it. They need to be balanced at 60% runs and 40% passes.

Re: Ron Rivera
more good then bad. Team seems committed to him and he's kept most of the drama out of the locker room. I wish he benched WJ3 earlier though.

Yes. Yes it would have. All kidding aside how in the absolute hell are you the HC and have no idea that losing todays game puts you in a position where you can be eliminated today? This guy is a joke. |

Re: Ron Rivera
Honestly I think he was confident they would win and that what anyone else does didn't matter. Think he was also confident they would beat the Giants twice. They should have won all three, but if Ron was overconfident the team feeds off of that and it reflected in the effort the last 4 games, minus 49ers

I think you are being too kind. Ron definitely had no idea that next weeks game might not matter. The question was in reference to who would play quarterback against Dallas if the game didn’t matter. After a long pause he asks “we can be eliminated “? WTF? This is after the L, so forget about winning and not caring about other teams. That ship sailed when your team shit the bed. At that point the reporters, fans, and the dude who collects scrap metal out of the local dumpsters in town all knew that next weeks game might be meaningless but the HC didn’t? Thats absolutely bat shit crazy. |

Re: Ron Rivera
Another thing about Rivera, we never get a straight answer on injuries. He keeps injuries a secret, perfect examples are the Young dilemma, Holcomb foot, Schweitzer long concussion and others. What the fuck is up with that. That was never an issue with other coaching staffs.

He probably has no idea. Like I see him just drifting off in thought while he is being updated. Or while he is throwing a challenge flag. Or when he needs to use a timeout. Or when he is making personnel decisions. Or when someone asks him about us being eliminated. Or when he makes toast. Or….. |

In the NHL injuries are classified often as "lower body, upper body, etc." without specifics unless it's something major. The idea here is not giving your opponent a competitive advantage by giving them a perfect timeline of when they will be back. I'm comfortable with him being vague on injuries, we need all the competitive advantage we can get at this point (which is hilarious to say about a team that was in the thick of the playoff hunt two weeks ago).

Re: Ron Rivera
Time to go.
3 years and NO winning seasons. The fluke division title was only because Dak got hurt. Ron is a great guy and a players coach but he’s old and outdated. It’s time for this whole staff to be gone. They won’t do it though which pisses me off the most Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Ron Rivera
What is Ron known for? I know he played for bears .. but is he a Defensive guy or has he ever called plays ? I guess he views himself as a overseeing type guy .. I don’t know , nice enough person and I wish him all the best however I’m not sure why he is a head coach … he is not that innovative .. I can’t blame it on his age look at Andy Reid.. the better teams seem to have a head coach that excels at Offense or defense.. All I ever see is Ron starring straight ahead with his arms folded .. what exactly does he do ??
