Re: Looking at the draft.
If we pick in top 7 I would love to see a Derwin James/ DJ Swearinger safety tandem.

Re: Looking at the draft.
Josh Norman isn't the problem guys, yes I'd see if he would take a little cut but he's been our most consistent player on D since joining the team. Nobody throws his way hardly, that is a huge deal.

Re: Looking at the draft.
He’s been getting burnt and is not injured anymore. Kendall Fuller is our best CB.

Re: Looking at the draft.
Norman is healing from broken ribs, he is not the problem. We have no real pass rush, Deshazor Everett is not a starting caliber safety and we are seeing entirely too much Zach Vigil on the field

I think everyone is forgetting that He could have sat the rest of the season if he wanted too

Re: Looking at the draft.
It seems like there 2 potential franchise QBs in Rosen and Darnold. Then 2 top 15 draft pick QBs in L Jackson and the OSU QB. Then 2 1-2nd round picks in Mayfield and Wyoming QB.
With Kirk gone, I think you have to go BA QB baring some crazy player falling into your lap.

I'd take Allen or Mayfield. I'm not a huge Darnold guy. Rudolph to me is another Tannehill

Re: Looking at the draft.
Anybody else like Riley Ferguson of Memphis? I think he is worth a shot for a later round QB pick, I believe he is projected as a 4-5th rounder. If it were me I would use the high picks to shore up the defense.

Re: Looking at the draft.
I'd rather take a QB round 1 and just start him if that's the case.

Re: Looking at the draft.
Unless you are Aaron Rodgers or maybe now Jared Goff, I would stay away from PAC 12 QB's. I was sold on Mariota but he has had an awful season despite the team being 8-5. Especially from USC, all of those guys have sucked in the NFL.

Re: Looking at the draft.
Rosen is the best QB in this class. Browns should be forced by the NFL to draft him.
Baker Mayfield is # 2. If he was a couple inches taller he'd be consensus top 5 overall pick. Someone just has to think he's more Drew Brees than Johny Manziel.

Re: Looking at the draft.
I don't understand the Manziel talk? He is a coke head, Baker isn't even close to that.

Re: Looking at the draft.
I prefer continuity but i've seen enough that I wouldn't mind major changes.
I think Dan Snyder should inform Bruce Allen that he will no longer be involved in football-related matters with the team. Then Snyder should conduct a thorough search for a true GM. The new GM will manage all departments of football operations and he will report directly to Dan Snyder. The new GM would immediately begin working on Free Agency and the Draft. |
