It's always one guy who fucks up. The line and TE needs an overhaul. It should be the priority for the off season. O-line and a traditional TE or two. I'd go with a 2 TE offense where there's a traditional Y and then an Hback.
I am all for trading what probably will be pick #2 for multiple picks, there should be plenty decent O-line prospects in rounds 2-4. Unless you have a Russell Wilson or Aaron Rodgers back there you won't have any decent offense with a bad O-line.

I'd start Thompson

Love wasn't the healthiest guy his last year there. To lean on him and Guice going into next is beyond moronic. Its like we haven't learned a fucking thing.

Lets bring back Reed too at TE?

I get the Skins running game stinks but its hard to establish a running game when they are losing from the get go. You cant play catch up and run the ball, the two don't go together.

Green Bay running the ball...suddenly winning. Indy beat KC running the ball. San Fran, pedestrian passing attack...but winning. Redskins last year...pedestrian passing...6-2 start. New Orleans has moved to a more running team. Dallas dominates when it runs. Patrioits have always run the ball well.

With our questionable QB play, why aren't we moving to a run based offense?
I think its easier to run the ball when you have a really good passing attack or an O line. We have neither.

Colts invested 3 1st Round picks for their LT-LG-C and a 2nd on their RT. LG was a 4th R from Seattle.

Cowboys also invested a lot. No need to list them.

49ers have 3 1st Rounders and a 2nd on their O line. Plus I think Shanny passing reputation keeps D Coord honest even if they arent putting up a lot of passing yards.

We have Trent, Scherff and Ereck Flowers as our 1st rounders. Moses as our 2nd Rounder. We have no passing attack threat. Bergstrom and co are getting beat 1-on-1 without putting up much if any resistance.

Run the ball, take select deep shots when given, control the clock and win it on a last second field goal. Old school 80s-90s football.

He was before, injuries happen. That’s why he’s sitting this year, so he’s ready to go next year. Get the bad taste of your mouth.

The bad taste of young, injured RB on the roster? I'm clearly not saying "give up" but we need viable option at the position. I would def consider Kareem Hunt to come in and start right away. AP and CT money is up after this year, take it and sign a starter who an opposing D-Coordinator has to game plan for...while I love CT, his Injury history isn't great. Kareem Hunt, with Guice and Love behind him on decent contracts...that would be a winner.

Kareem Hunt is a free agent at the end of season. Thinking ahead, but the point remains...Guice, Love, AP, CT...starting RB in the NFL? meh, id have concerns

Re: Around the NFL Week 5

RB is one of those spots you should be looking at in the draft nearly every year. I have more concern over the system we're running and the OL when it comes to the running game. I'd move back to a zone scheme.

Glad to see Baker Mayfield stink up the field on Monday Night. The guy is way too cocky and has a big mouth for someone who hasn't done a thing.
