Re: Bucs Postgame

Cooper was VERY solid in pass pro. I didn't see him on roller skates, getting blown up and on his back like Lauvao. Lauvao was on his back more than a Mia Malkova.

I can enjoy the Cowboys/Eagles game now. Gotta root for Dallas.
F that. I want Philly to win make it a two horse race and get Dallas out of the picture. Time to put up or shut up.

Re: Bucs Postgame

I'd rather give up 400 yards with 3 points any day. Smith was safe all day, the guy just doesn't turn the ball over. Yeah we got lucky some, but good teams get lucky. Yes it's ugly and yes AS is inconsistent but a win is a win

Re: Bucs Postgame

Didnt get to see the game. Was talking shit about the pass defense{and especially Norman}before the game,I dont know if I should eat my words or not? Secondary was torched for over 400 yards but somehow Bucs only score 3 points{that seems like something the skins would do},so defense did something right.I've seen 1 highlight, and that was Norman interception at the goal line.Even though it looked like a horrible pass, badly over thrown,Norman was there and he made the interception,so kudos to him
Still in first place, won with 3 backup off lineman, great team win.
I still think Philly wiill overtake us by the end,but I will enjoy it while it last.I cannot root for Dallas to win, have too many Cowboy fans in these here parts that talk shit,I love to see them eat that shit

Stroman
Hopkins
Way
Norman
Swearinger
Also had nice games

The negatives:

Horrible tackling
How the fuck do you let Fitzpatrick scramble like Fran Tarkenton? They could not get to him.
Norman should be top of that list.
Preston made one very nice play with Kerrigan getting the strip but he was non existent the rest of the game besides one tackle.

McKinzy came off the street this week and got to the QB twice(one called back).
McKinzey needs to be on this list.

Ryan Anderson is improving every game. He needs more playing time.
Doctson is trending in the right direction.

F Preston smith.

You are what you’re record says you are. This is a good win.

Re: Bucs Postgame

Any win in the NFL, regardless of style points, is hard to come by. Sure, we have some glaring deficiencies but we have twice as many wins as losses...it's been a while. It's not pretty but I'm happy that we have finally have an identity. It ain't pretty but we know exactly who we are and you can win some games that way. Are we in the top tier as far as the Saints, Rams or Chiefs? Absolutely not, but we ARE 6-3. I also thought today's win was a gutsy performance and good bounce back from last week's embarrassment. Perhaps that says something about the character of this team....time will tell.

I think some people would rather lose pretty and lose versus look ugly and win. Any team can have an off day. Look at New England.

Re: Bucs Postgame

Cooper and McKinzy deserve a lot of credit for coming in and playing well all things considered.

Not sure what happened to McPhee.

Also, winning is important. You don't get anything out of moral victories. If this team is able to complete a winning season and get to the playoffs, it'll be huge for team culture and the young key players we have.
