Draft a QB till you get it right.
Wentz is not a long term answer.

I’d like Lineman to be honest but I could see them going Wr or CB

For me, with the draft so apparently rich with WR talent, and having bigger needs elsewhere, I'd be really tempted to listen to trade offers. Every chance we could still land a top LB, S/CB & WR with the right trade down. Just dropping down to the lower 1st round spots could net us maybe as much as another 2nd round pick, and still be able to pick up the likes of Olave, Hill, London, Lloyd etc. If there were no offers worth considering, I'd have to think WR because whoever is top of that pile when we pick is likely to be a good investment.

Agree to disagree, strongly. The last four years our QBR has been worst in the NFL. That doesn't happen solely because of poor QB play, that also happens because of the lack of adequate and reliable weapons.

After last season I don't see how you can count on health from Curtis Samuel. And I don't see how you can count on production from Dyami Brown.

MLBs don't see the field in our defense more than 50% of the snaps. What you're really saying is we need a buffalo nickel and I agree, but that role isn't has difficult to fill as WR. We still have a decent shot to sign Landon Collins back at $3M or something after the draft.

Unless there is an absolute stud player that can't miss at 11, and I don't think there will be...I'd prefer to trade back and get more picks in my opinion. Hopefully there will be a team wanting a QB still and willing to trade. The way this team has been at drafting WR over the years, I still don't trust even this group to evaluate one successfully.

If that is the case, then you probably want them to take one of the top 1-3 WRs with the 11th pick, rather than trust their evaluation on a 4-7 rounder.

Gotta feeling both Jameson Williams and Stingley Jr will be strongly considered at 11 if there

Definitely plenty of quality options will be there at 11.

Heard a PFF guy this morning say Williams is the no. 1 WR, interesting bc it was always Garret Wilson 1, Drake London 2, Olave 3.

We may have our pick btw Hamilton, Stingley or London.

PFF guy says London would be a great fit for Wentz. Bigger body WR do well with him.

---------------

Pickett to Panthers at 6 seems to be a lock.

With Williams it's all a matter of how much you trust the knee, I think. And then to your point, fit with your needs. London would give us that big body and Wentz did well with Alshon Jeffrey who's kind of like that. But London wasn't able to separate much from CBs in the PAC12, I worry about him getting open at the NFL level. Much rather have Wilson or Williams or Olave, personally.

I don’t like London for your reasons listened above. If cleared by our med staff I’m taking Williams all day over him. Sims can be that big body WR. I saw a stat a while ago where Williams had some ridiculous big play line…something like 20 30+yard catches?

Not sure I buy the talk about London not being able to separate, good breakdown here

Why Drake London’s versatility as a route runner makes him a viable target for Washington

Best player at 11. Not the best wr. Way too much talk about the wr's. I get it, there are a lot of good ones. But you gotta grab the best player. If that is a corner or safety then take him.

If you go WR first with so many options, we can’t swing and miss

I don't either. If they take a wr I hope it is cause he was the best player. Not really worried about the guy's size. It's production, the total package. I'd take 3 wr's the size of Gary Clark if possible if I knew they could play.

I keep coming back to Wilson and Williams. The injury to Williams hopefully doesn't stop them from drafting him. I just don't see how you go wrong w/ either guy.
