Redskins Game Seats

I have tickets for this Friday's preseason game in Section 230 Row 17. Does anyone know how these seats are? I know they are obstructed view seats but how bad are they?

Re: Redskins Game Seats

Here's the seating chart:

SeatData - Washington Redskins - FedEx Field

They're basically endzone. If you click on the section, it shows you the actually field view from that section.

Re: Redskins Game Seats

I'm sure that view is showing me Row 1 of that section but I'm further back in Row 17.

You have obstructed view seats for an exhibition game - - and you are worried about what you are going to see?

If you paid more than $5 for the seats - - don't even tell me what the face price of the ticket is because I will surely get sick if I knew - - you have been taken for a ride...

Just go and enjoy the experience - - as best you can.

And remember, the game doesn't mean a damned thing...

Re: Redskins Game Seats

Honestly, with the exception of the "obstructed view" seats which are in the 200's somewhere and I really no nothing about... I've sat in the "worst seat in the house" and seen everything just fine.

If the seats are bad, then there should be empty seats nearby nobody would mind you sliding into

Yea I have tickets in the 400s for super cheap and every game I've gone to. At fed ex has been in the 400s (nosebleeds ) lmao and seen everything just fine... .. I wouldnt pay to have "obstructed view" seats wen I can spend less $ and still have a good seat IMO

i sat in the cave/obstructed view seats around the 20 yard line or so on the skins sideline side.

you cant see punts or the peak of a long pass, tend to watch on the lil antiquated 30 inch tvs they have . . .but its really not that bad for free tickets during a reg season game.

never been in the obstructed views on the endzone side. been 1st row in the endzone. the action is amazing when the play is inside the redzone on your end. just amazing. you see every lil weight shift and cut of a player. one wrong weight shift by a CB and hes toast. its right there in front of you. the worst part is when the play isnt inside the redzone on your end of the field. you cant see or understand what you are watching. a 2 yard run or a 35 yard run looks the same.

enjoy buddy! fire up the grill!

If you are 2 minutes away from FedEx as you say you are and you can't figure out how to know what your sight line is going to be, no one here will be much help. You have the seating chart; you are next door to the stadium.

Go and down a couple of beers and have a good time. Nothing you may or may not be able to see on the field will mean much of anything - - except for an injury.

Re: Redskins Game Seats

With TV as fantastic as it is today I have a hard time understanding why anyone goes to games to sit in the best seats let alone obstructed view seats. I know people like to talk about atmosphere but there is no atmosphere at Skins games.

Re: Redskins Game Seats

Obstructed seats that's easy. Go stand about 1 foot from a wall and look both ways.
