2021 Season-We'll Be Ready
I know that everybody is geeked up about Haskins and the other draft choices, heck I am too but let's be cool and give it two years to play out,I see the kid taking over next season and playing well but taking his lumps of course..but by the 2021 season after having a year under his belt and some free agent signings on offense we'll be ready to burn, and I'm saying it now...NFC CHAMPIONS!!!

Can we move the new post threshold to 100 posts? Asking for a friend.

2021 what you think about me, I could wait a year, but I shouldn't wait three.

Re: 2021 Season-We'll Be Ready
I think we should merge the Dominated the 1st round thread with the Draft Rage thread.

Re: 2021 Season-We'll Be Ready
I'm excited to see Haskins play THIS season, even though he'll be a rookie and making newbie, rookie mistakes.
The real question is if Haskins has a decent rookie-type season (which is all we can expect) what happens to Gruden?

Re: 2021 Season-We'll Be Ready
Claiming that we'll be 2021 NFC Champions 2 days after a draft and before any of our draft picks have even step foot into the facilities is a bit.... silly, don't ya think?
Fact of the matter is we have NO idea how ANY of these draft picks will pan out, injuries we'll sustain, players of our own leaving, etc. To make any sort of assumptions is silly. To make one for the 2021 season when there is still so much time between then and now is even sillier. You silly sally.

We also need to do well on the FA circuit, and based on the last few years I'm not sure that Bruce Allen has done very well. I mean paying a big contract for Alex Smith who is over 35 years old? He has been a good QB, not a Drew Brees. You can't predict injuries but the Redskins overpaid for him and will be in cap trouble for that decision. How has the Josh Norman mega-signing done for the team? He's a good CB but is he worth the money? Who will be our coach in 2021? Gruden has been a decent coach but there are better ones out there. This is probably his last season. Who will come to Washington, which does not have a good reputation in the owner - head coach category? Its making excellent draft choice, FA picks and paying the right amount for them, great coaching that gets you to the SB. One draft does not a Superbowl make.

Re: 2021 Season-We'll Be Ready
Took me a little while to get accustomed to it, but clearly by this board's standards, this deserves a post in a thread ("Post draft thoughts" seems perfectly fitting for it IMO), not a thread to itself.
That's not debating wether your point is valid or not, just telling you why your thread isn't working as it is.

I bet a cheeseburger will cost $600 in 2021.
I really hope they've invented seamless pants by then.

I think the 2025 season will be our season.
