Re: I get this when I try to reply
oh, believe you me, it's figured out. i can understand it being for the look of the homepage but not for the practicality. theres nothing practical about posting the same news in two separate forums. the practical way would be to post it with a link and then discuss it. people get off topic all the time in various threads. if a new person was to join in the discussion and was confused because the "headline" reads "ramsey looking good" but the last couple of posts are about apple pie vs. cherry pie , all he/she would have to do is go to and read the first post, which contains the link.
but this is just my thinking, it's possible that i'm wrong with this line of thinking. am i ? |

Re: I get this when I try to reply
The practicality of it is this, say I just want to visit the home page really quick to see what the latest Redskins news is, I can look to the news wire and see what's new and be on my way, rather than sifting through the latest dicussions in the locker room.
When you reply to posts in the locker room, it bumps that thread to the top. So it's not easy to keep track of what the latest news is. It's just an easy way to seperate news from discussion, that's all. |
