I thought it looked pretty harmless

Re: Around the NFL (Week 13)
Pretty horseshit tackle by Suh if you ask me. What coach in the world would teach/support that sort of technique?
Sorry but that's not football. That's backyard thug BS. |

Actually the dude just pushed him, he just happens to be an incredibly powerful man. It does look bad though.

Re: Around the NFL (Week 13)
Yeah a pretty violent shove, in real time I can see why they called a penalty as it looked like he got him on the back of the head. The fine is debateable. I just have a problem with his total lack of even trying to execute a tackle.

Wow. Did not realize the NFL was ready so soon for the second venue of "The Chad Rinehart Experience"...

Re: Around the NFL (Week 13)
If he jumps on top of him there, you're looking at a potential injury. Can you imagine the 300lbs of Suh coming down on him at speed? That dude is a beast.

Going into that Philly/Houston game, the Eagles' defense was allowing 316.5 yards per game. That ranked them 5th in the NFC Going into the Washington/NY Giants game, the Redskins' defense was allowing 400.9 yards per game. That ranked them dead last in the NFC and dead last in the NFL. And those numbers lead you to "think its pretty safe to say that Phiily's Defense isn't much better than ours." ...

Re: Around the NFL (Week 13)
can someone explain to me the guys who stand on the sidelines with the striped yellow (and another color) type of shirts on. im guessin they are either ball boys or the chain gang or the down marker guys. what i dont understand is why one of them was emphatically celebrating when gano missed the late field goal in regulation against the titans in tenn. i mean fist pumping you thought he was a coach celebrating gano's miss.
please do not tell me that the chain gang guys are locals to whomever the home team is. down marker guys i dont care, ball boys i care alil bit but chain guys . . .dont trust that, not by the way this guy was clearly biased. saw this on a video on nfl.com

Re: Around the NFL (Week 13)
in this day and age of football and fines, i would guess if suh tried to tackle him from behind he would have been flagged and fined for "applying his weight onto the quarterback".

Re: Around the NFL (Week 13)
Justin Tryon sure looked better than Phillip Buchanon. That was a mistake to get rid of him.
