It’s a tough call, but I’d lean towards a rb with pass catching ability. RB are too hard to find as well.

Wes Schweitzer finished with a 93.7 overall grade (the highest of his career) and Brandon Scherff finished with a 90.8 overall grade.

Those are also the two highest grades for any offensive lineman in week 11.

@realronalddarby
had his best game by far yesterday, finishing with an 88.6 Coverage grade. Targeted 13 times for just 5 Receptions. #WashingtonFootball

Again, why was Christian and Wes Martin on the field to start the season when Lucas and Schweitzer were obviously the better players

Some players are just gamers and don't always flash in practice.

Good point! I think Rivera and Kyle Smith will use at least one high draft pick and/or some of their FA money for the OL. This year is about testing players to see whether we stay with them or cut them. I don’t think Christian or Martin will be on the team next season
except as maybe depth players.

Re: Bengals @ WFT postgame thread

If you take out Wes Martin I think the OL has been no less than satisfactory this year. I have definitely been pleasantly surprised. Lucas is a perfect swing tackle so I hope we draft/sign another LT and move Charles to LG. Either as starter or backup to Wes. Depending on if we keep Scherff, they both could be starters at G.

Gonna be very interesting/important on how the Roullier/Scherff FA's are handled. Need to keep at least 1 of them, hopefully both.

I only caught highlights on Redzone and missed part of one play - did Apke miss a straight in his hands INT or did my eyes deceive me?

APKE THIS SEASON HAS A 54.9 COVERAGE GRADE...

WORST AMONG DB's on the team

The Giants have looked like the best team of late, and they own the tiebreaker.

The Cowboys appear to have the easiest remaining schedule.

WFT probably has to win 4 of the last 6 games to take the division, with two of those wins coming against the Cowboys and the Eagles.

I was disappointed that a rookie Qb was able to come in, read our D and then have his first option open for a quick throw and catch. Why were we giving Burrow soft coverage and underneath stuff?

Answer: Because Troy Apke was your starting FS with Kamren Curl.

While it wasnt pretty, and I think the Bengals would have made a game of things if Burrow didnt get hurt, the game plan worked. Give them the underneath stuff and protect Apke/Curl.

Yes Burrow went 22/34 but he only had around 200 yards passing and we somehow held them to 3/13 on 3rd down conversion. Watching the game, it felt like Burrow was on pace for 350 yds and 50% conversion rate.

Odd game to watch. Was ugly but you dont get extra points for style. This approach wont work against better talent and I dont feel good feeling like we eeked out a win vs the second worst team in the NFL.

We are a bottom 5 team who could be leading their division come Thursday night. What a strange state of affairs.
