If what Dilfer is saying about Yates is true then Shanahan will be all over him. Tony Romo like, quick release, progression passer, needs a lot of work on mechanics. Sounds like a Shanahan type guy.

You forgot to mention that Dilfer also said in the same sentence his mechanics were a train wreck. LOL

Robert Gallery | Raiders | Interested: Seahawks?

After the Seattle Seahawks drafted a pair of offensive linemen Thursday and Friday night, new offensive line coach Tom Cable said both were likely to start this season, according to Doug Farrar of SportsPressNW.com. Cable projected an offensive line with Max Unger at center, Russell Okung and first-round pick James Carpenter at tackles, and third-round pick John Moffitt and a "nameless free agent" at guards.

That "nameless free agent" is, in all likelihood, Robert Gallery, who formerly played for Cable on the Oakland Raiders. It's been known for months that Gallery would be leaving the Raiders in free agency, and believed that he would be re-joining former Raiders head coach Cable in the Pacific Northwest. Sounds like Cable is convinced that he'll have that free agent on his roster by opening day.

From Redskins.com

Quote:
Jenkins, 6-4 and 309 pounds, is expected to play defensive end in Jim Haslett’s 3-4 scheme in Washington
So maybe they should pick a NT now.
Jerrell Powe at 330lbs
Ian Williams at 305lbs.

Anyone else available at NT that should be looked at?

Remember don't take players that didn't play at SEC schools. In fact how SEC players are still available is beyond me. Maybe the league has limits to how many SEC player teams are allowed to have to keep competitive balance or something.

We're going to trade our picks for picks next year according to Adam S. But but, I want rookies NOW!

Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7

I am very pleased with this draft strategy so far (aside from the @@&% Titans stealing Locker).

I would like to see us take Mark Herzlich from BC (if the medical checks out). Maybe I am a dreamer...but it can't hurt to have a guy like him in the locker room. I would also be all for taking a flyer on Tyrod Taylor as a developmental QB.

Sadly at this rate the NFL is going to be able to put together an all-cancer team, and not the Locker Room cancer type.

Yeah, as an Iowa homer, I am offended they are shying away from Stanzi.
